Cute little spot in our neighborhood. We had to come check it out. The tacos we picked were outstanding. I had the chicken and my girls had the birria and carnitas. All the meat was seasoned very well and they were delicious. The only complaint I have is the loud music over our heads. We couldn’t even have a conversation. I would say for a weekday maybe lower the music and weekends pump it up! Overall great!

Absolutely amazing! Colima Taqueria II is hands down one of the best Mexican spots in the Bronx. The food is fresh, flavorful, and full of authentic street-style taste. You can tell they put a lot of care into every dish.The staff is super friendly and welcoming, and the service is always fast—even when it's busy. The restaurant is clean and has a great vibe, and the outdoor seating is perfect if you want to chill and watch the game or just enjoy the fresh air.I’ve tried a few things from the menu and have never been disappointed. Whether you're picking up, dining in, or ordering delivery, they get it right every time.Highly recommend this spot if you’re craving real Mexican food that hits the spot every time. 🌮🔥

Updated: April 8, 2025. My son and I decided to give the restaurant another chance to taste their food. To our surprise the service and the food was mediocre. I had the $2 dollar tacos Tuesday Birria. The tacos were not that great at all and soggy. The shredded meat was not tasted, added extra cheese which paid .50 cents extra and tacos had very little cheese. We also order Elote which had no taste to it. We then order Nacho pollo asado, thinking that it would be like most Mexican restaurant’s nachos, we were completely disappointed when it arrived, it was more of a salad nacho than an original Mexican nachos. See pictures below. Will not be returning.March 25,2025: My son and I arrived at this New Mexican Restaurant. We were not greeted but I asked can I sit anywhere and said yes. I had to asked for the menu when I sat and asked for utensils when food arrived. The young fellow who is part of the business did apologize for not having enough staff but were in the process to hire. The service and the food were great. I had the steak quesadilla and my son had the birria tacos. The food was prepared fast and we did not wait long. This is a new Mexican Restaurant in the Bronx and is family owned. Let us support this family business. Will definitely return to try their other dishes. The waitresses need to be more attentive and friendly, as a business owner it is imperative that service and friendliness be top priority to enhance the business and to ask customers if food and services is good and any suggestions for business to improve.

for how busy it was (every table was full), our server made sure we had what we needed in good time. a little wait here and there but nothing worth fussing over. not a place to eat if you’re in a rush but if you’ve got time and some friends, def the spot to hang. food was AMAZINGGG. first time i’ve had AUTHENTIC street corn. never turning back. idc if we leave 4 hours upstate 🤣 we will be back! the shrimp.. was cooked perfectly. rice was savory and tangy. everything was great. 10/10 recommend to people who have or haven’t had mexican before. i would suggest you try this place first.
