I feel compelled to share what happened during my family’s visit to Dallas BBQ at Bay Plaza on 6/25/2025.We went there to celebrate a once-in-a-lifetime milestone: my niece’s high school graduation. This was supposed to be a joyful day for my family, including my infant niece who is autistic and my nephew who is blind. We made special arrangements so they could enjoy this celebration together.Unfortunately, the experience turned into something I wouldn’t wish on anyone. During our meal, we were served food that was contaminated in an unacceptable way — there was a giant water bug under the meat in the food. This caused severe distress to everyone at the table. Some family members became physically ill, and the emotional impact on my autistic niece and blind nephew was devastating — they were terrified and confused, and it ruined a moment that can never be replaced.Afterward, I made multiple good-faith attempts to resolve this directly with Dallas BBQ’s management by phone and email. They repeatedly ignored my emails and never provided any meaningful solution or compensation for what happened.I share this so that others are aware of what happened to my family. I truly hope no other family ever has to go through something like this, especially when trying to celebrate such an important life moment with loved ones who have special needs.I will update this review if the company chooses to resolve this in good faith.” - Arnold Chavis
