What is worth choosing
When you're in the Bronx and craving authentic West African food, EazyLife Restaurant & Lounge is an excellent choice. One customer review highlights the generous portion sizes and good taste of their Jollof rice and Egusi soup, noting that while the soup was a little dry for their personal preference, the overall meal was satisfying and the taste was great. The second, more detailed review speaks to the restaurant's role as a meeting place for friends, with one person traveling three hours from Connecticut just to meet family and friends for a "lavish Nigerian dinner." This personal testimony emphasizes that EazyLife is more than a place to eat—it's a destination that creates "unforgettable memories" with "flavourful dishes." The fact that it brings people together from across state lines speaks volumes about its quality and reputation.
The sheer breadth and authenticity of the menu are major selling points. It offers a culinary journey through West Africa, with dishes that are staples in both Nigeria and Ghana. For New Yorkers eager to try something new or for those from the region who are looking for a taste of home, the variety is unbeatable. The inclusion of dishes like "Nigerian Isi Ewu" (Goat Head) and "Waakye" demonstrates a commitment to traditional and deep-rooted recipes.
Beyond the food, the inviting and inclusive atmosphere is a huge draw. Being a Black-owned business that is welcoming to all, including the LGBTQ+ community, makes it a place where you can feel good about spending your money. The combination of a cozy restaurant, a lively bar, and a late-night lounge with a fast service model means it caters to almost any dining need. EazyLife is a perfect example of a local gem that provides excellent food, a great atmosphere, and a place to create meaningful connections.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Got jollof rice, poundo yam with egusi. The meal was nice, and the portion was satisfying, not bad at all. My only issue was with the egusi; it was a bit too dry for my liking. Other than that, everything tasted great!
April 21 · GraceIt is always an amazing experience when you are in New York City 🗽🇺🇸 exploring the city. As soon as my friends learned I was in town, they insisted on taking me and my family out for dinner 🍽.My brother from another mother who was a childhood friend that we grew up together, Barrister Christmas Akpodiete had to drive three hours from the State of Connecticut 🇺🇸. My other friend for many years in Nigeria Mr. David Seyi Otaru Miliki also came in from the State of New Jersey 🇺🇸.They both ensure that we drove in convoy to a prestigious Nigerian restaurant in the Bronx area of New York City 🇺🇸 called Easy Life restaurant for a dinner. It was for me a joy to see my children observe the generosity of my friends right on their faces. One of my children was to later tell me that "Dad, now I can see and feel the reward of your hosting your friends and visitors nearly every week at our home."We enjoyed a lavish Nigerian dinner cuisine, full of flavorful dishes. The food was absolutely delicious, and the company was even better. It was a beautiful night, filled with laughter and good food, creating unforgettable memories. Please join me in appreciating these great men who devoted their very scarce timing to give us these fabulous entertainment. May God bless you guys🙏#NYCAdventures #NigerianCuisine #FoodieFriends #DinnerDate#FriendshipGoals #GenuineConnections #MakingMemories#highlightseveryone #followersreels #followers #highlight #usa
August 10 · Dr. Sunny OfeheIt's about the only place (I know of) one can get authentic Nigerian food. Food is 4 stars. Also impressed that they have kept AND maintained great ambience. One time I was there toilet looked shabby, by the time I returned 2 weeks.. all redone. It's the little things that count..All said and done, it's a restaurant and the food is gooooood!!
March 30 · timi kaleThe food is horrible and dirty… got me some vegetables and pounded yam. Didn’t get enough red stew … it is what it is 🤷🏽♂️. Their staffs were unprofessional and unwelcoming,
April 19 · Dapo IbrahimTVFood was delicious. The ambience was great. They have private lounges to host your private parties. If you're looking for a nice African restaurant to take your friends to, this is the place. Although, they're yet to get their liquor license which they're working on.They paid attention to your needs and have everything on their menu. It was easy to get parking also.I'll be going back soon.
