★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This used to be the best taco truck in the area. I can’t wait to the Taco Stand opens at the neighborhood!!!!Every single visit the past 6 months, I got less meat on my quesadilla and burrito. I usually scaled the burrito at home and they took 100g less of the weight. Also some nights they even can clean the flat top to make a nice quesadilla. They're just stealing from us. Stay away from here!!You just going to get a spoon of meat from $15.The guys working there they’re nice.
July 31 · Mauricio LThese tacos used to be so good. I used to get them all the time. I hadn’t been there in a while. The last few times haven’t been a good experience. Between the mean girl who works the register and the food being served unfresh and unappetizing. I gave them a break. I randomly got the craving for these tacos today. I drove more than 30 minutes just for me to receive this nasty mess. I drove all the way home and I had work early in the morning so I couldn’t drive back. I’ve gotten the Tony’s tacos many many times and never have they been this gross looking. The meat color is supposed to be vividly redder, idk how long these avocados were out and placed on my plate and the food was barely warm. I paid in cash so I can’t get a refund and I damn sure ain’t driving back that far.
May 22 · Jasmine LewisOrdered a torta, not even half of the bun is covered with the pastor meat. Super disappointing... The worst part is that this is the second time this has happened and it's starting to seem like it's on purpose which seems unscrupulous.,. Definitely will be the last time I support this spot.
May 11 · Jordan HooksWent to the Montrose area this past weekend to experience the nightlife. Walked by this place on our way into JR’s and although we had plans to go to a different restaurant (there are dozens of options nearby) the smell INSTANTLY made us change our minds!!!Very affordable and delicious REAL Mexican “street” tacos. We were able to eat there before going to the club and after without breaking the bank because it was reasonably priced.Would recommend the beef tacos, they are the best out of all the fillings we tried. Crispy, yet soft tacos with limes and 2 different salsas.Staff was very friendly, 1000% will go back. My favorite spot in the area (and downtown Houston to be completely honest). If you’re nearby and/or planning to visit JR’s or SouthBeach….try it out! I know I’ll add it to my nights out at JR/SoBe. 💕
July 14 · Jacky PI think the first red flag i shouldn't have ignored was a white guy taking my order. I don’t really write reviews unless i feel like its my duty to let others know NOT to waste their money! I have been to ALOT of taco trucks and never was so disappointed that i had to write a review for them but here i am. I specifically ask no onions TWICE yet i still receive about the same amount of onions as i did meat which, in the first place wasnt much to compete with. There was little to NO meat on the tacos especially when i handpicked the onions out. Its like they used onions to make the taco look somewhat full. Its one of those bffr moments when u get home and bite into straight tortillas that costed you $3 a pop. Plz refer to photos below and decide to go somewhere else because this truck is a waste of time. ESPECIALLY when i go to look at the other reviews and it’s saying the same things i experienced. Rude white man not making the orders correct, and little to no meat for $3. Obviously they arnt taking the reviews seriously enough to actually fix the problem an yet chose to respond saying they will work on it. Okay dude. My first and last time coming here.
