June 26 · Tori MooreDecided to make the 40 minute drive over here, only to make it there around 2:00 PM and find they were closed. The sign above the business was missing and the doors were locked.Checked their social media for any announcement of their closing temporarily or permanently and there was nothing notifying customers of any closure.Came here before and had a great experience. I had hoped to bring someone to share the awesome experience I had before, only to be left disappointed by the closure. Due to seeing they have responded to reviews recently on here it appears they just felt like closing for the day or something during their normal business hours.Photos are from my previous experience. The food was delicious!

June 02 · GarrettWhat I wanted was good fried chicken. What I got was much more. The chicken wings was just the right amount of crispy. Salt and peppered to perfection. Good portions for the price. The greens where seasoned very well and had so much flavor. Nice place. Very basic. Ordered at the counter and the owner was the one who took our order. Family owned place. There was a continuous stream of people coming and picking up as well as sitting in the restaraunt like us. If your in this part of Houston, I highly recommend you go.

April 05 · Giang VI had been hearing about Elmers on Facebook and really wanted to give them a try. The first two times that we went was during their business hours and they were not open. Third time’s a charm Iguess. The owner was there during our visit and answered all of our questions. He was very nice and informative. The inside of the restaurant was really clean. Overall, the food was okay. There was nothing special about it. Also, the owner told us that they ran out of cups for the koolaid. I felt there should have been canned drinks available atleast if a drink was included in the price we paid. The fried chicken and the Mac and cheese are the only things that I would consider getting again. The pork chop was extremely tender but I didn’t care for the flavor.

October 18 · Jaelyn MelenaI did not dine in. However they are open for dining in. I saw this business on a special Facebook post and wanted to try them out. The sides looked amazing in the pics. Please let me tell you, the sides did not disappoint! They tasted as delicious as they looked in every picture. I was happy to know the sides were flavored with turkey instead of pork!... and because I'm a veggie person, I wanted to try more than 2. I did and everything was delicious. The fish and the shrimp were cooked perfectly. Just the best amount of seasoning on everything! I'm going to post a 4 minute video of me tasting all of it except the German Chocolate cake and sample of Banana🍌Pudding. Please enjoy 😉
