Me and my family have always loved Imperial Garden—it’s been our go-to for birthdays, family dinners, or anytime we want a solid meal. The Hot and Sour Soup and Chinese Chicken Salad are must-haves, and the rest of the menu never disappoints.When I saw there was a second location, I was stoked—and it didn’t let us down. The food was just as good, and the service was truly incredible.What really stood out was the atmosphere—super clean, stylish, and comfortable. It’s closer to home too, which makes it even more of a win.We’ll definitely be back. This place is already a new favorite. 5 stars, easy.

Really good food, decent size portion. Lots of variety, with one exception – their combination/lunch special menu is very limited. Not very many things on it – basically three variations of sweet-and-sour, orange, chicken, and a few other things.The atmosphere was nice, but one thing was very slightly annoying.– The same song line and phrase played probably 50 times in a row. Maybe more. The entire hour I was in there. I listened to the same song line play.Other than that, the food was excellent.

Had dinner at Imperial Garden #2. They advertised that they have the traditional Chinese roast machine for roast duck and roast pork and that they serve Chinese Clay Pot Rice dishes. We ordered the Chinese sausage clay pot rice, honey walnut shrimp (although they ran out of walnuts), salt & pepper pork, green beans with beef, and roast pork. The Chinese sausage clay pot rice was fantastic, it's about $16 and was enough to feed at least 3 adults, each had more than one serving. The roast pork is crispy perfection. The only other place in Fresno that we could find Chinese Roast Pork was Bakery Delight, however, Imperial Garden #2 has definitely come out as #1 now, especially since they have the proper roaster. Honey walnut shrimp was fine. Green beans with beef was cooked well and the green beans were not mushy and this dish was very tasty. The salt & pepper pork was very very good as well, crispy and very flavorful without being dried out. They also have roast duck and peking duck on their menu, however we did not try it, but will have to try it next time. I highly recommend you come try Imperial Garden #2, especially if you are missing traditional Chinese style roasted meats and Chinese or Cantonese style cooking.

We ordered 3 dishes from Imperial Garden 2 and were very disappointed. 2 of the dishes were the #42 Honey Walnut Shrimp that were $17.99 each. There were a total of 12 shrimps per plate although the photo on their physical menu is at least double the quantity.We called the restaurant as we were quite surprised at how expensive the dish was. They confirmed the dish only comes with 12 pieces of shrimp although the photo reflects a larger amount. We were very disappointed as there was not enough food for our group of people. Sure, if this was a much nicer restaurant with organic dishes and everything was fresh, I would be more than happy to pay that price but this isn't the case as we felt their photos were deceitful.There are plenty of other REALLY good Asian restaurants that aren't overpriced. Definitely not ordering from here again

Very doable place for dim sum. Is it the best in the area? Not really. I ordered the Har Gow, Shui Mai, Fried Calamari, and fish porridge. All were very taste and good enough to satisfy craving for this time of food. If you’ve grown up with this, you’ll think that it’s okay. I know that this will be my second choice to come to or if I’m in this part of town then I’ll make it a point to come in. I do like the fact that they have the roast duck and roast pork all on display, ready for someone to walk in and order some to take home. The best item that I ordered was the Shui Mai it was a nice size and done like it is traditionally. My wife is a big fan of fish porridge and she did like it but it was average. The calamari was typical, as well as the Har Gow. All in all the place was satisfactory. The place is good for Fresno period.
