★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I’ve been going here for a few years. Honestly, it is my FAVORITE ramen place of all time… and I say that with a full chest. To some, fancy ramen is best. But this casual ramen place feels like home. I always get the miso chicken ramen, with the spice bomb on the side. I finish my bowl every single time. The broth is rich, the chicken is tender and flavorful, and it’s the perfect portion. My little brother always begs to go every week. My friend with Celiac’s has no trouble at all getting accommodations for her gluten-free needs. And on top of that, it’s an AMAZING price.Service is four stars, though. Although the staff is very nice, the service is a bit slow and inconsistent. It seems like the staff sometimes forgets to tend to their table… maybe it’s a staffing issue? Sometimes I have waited over 25 minutes for my ramen, while some days I only have to wait 10-15 minutes.
May 05 · DastdeHad dinner here and I had a great time. The ramen was delicious. The flavors were well balanced and the noodles were well cooked. I had their tiramisu and it was tasty. I would argue that it’s better than some tiramisu I’ve had at some Italian places. My opinion.
March 01 · Jou Jou DMara is so amazing, and very informative! Delicious food and amazing waitress as well is Kitomi! Surprised me with a delicious green tea ice cream dessert, YUMMY! Their Aburi tuna is so yummy. The Shoyu Tonkotsu and the Spicy Garlic Miso ramen soup are delicious!
January 19 · Soraida ValentineEnded up here for dinner because my daughter really wanted ramen. We had the Kara-age chicken (my choice) and edamame (her choice) to start with, both were decent. We both tried a different ramen, I had a spicy one from the specials menu which I enjoyed, it was really good. They have a kids menu with affordable choices but of course my kid didn’t want anything from there and she only ate half her ramen and didn’t care for the pork belly or really most of the toppings. We finished off our meal with the mango pudding which I thought was amazing. I thought it was definitely kid friendly, lots of families with kids dining the day I went. Service was ok, a bit on the slower side but I guess they were a bit busy. Overall I thought it was pretty pricey and not 100% worth it which means next time I would look for a different ramen spot in the area to explore.
March 24 · Laura B.Family friendly Japanese restaurant, centrally located. I ordered Yasai Ramen 🍜 with extra Bok Choi 🥬 which was made with spinach noodles!!!I follow a low carb, high protein & vegetable diet so this was perfect for me!The chicken broth was nice & light. The spinach noodles were delicious and extra nutritious! 😋The tofu was not great (would have preferred if the tofu was not fried). The veggies & extra bok choy 🥬 were on point. The spice bomb gave it a nice 🔥 touch!
