The hearty "Carnes" and "Pescado" sections of the menu offer a taste of classic comfort food, with dishes like Bistec Encebollado and Filete de Salmón being customer favorites.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is another significant factor that makes it a great choice. It strikes a perfect balance, being "casual" enough for an everyday meal yet "cozy" and "romantic" enough for a special occasion. Customer reviews highlight the friendly staff and the great vibe, with one person noting that the customers were "all very friendly." This kind of welcoming community feel is what turns a simple meal into a memorable experience. February 11 · Wild ManI've been in the place a few times, it's a nice local people spot, it's a nice place to bring a few people and eat their amazing food, their drinks are good too.
March 01 · Big Lou Antiques & Rare TreasuresIf you want authentic Puerto Rican food this is one of the best home style cooking. Good for a quick sit down lunch or take out dinner. Not fancy, but good food and reasonable prices. No waiting service, and they can be out of food after 1:00 pm.
June 18 · Evelyn AvilesThis is my third time here. I kept coming saying ok let me try one more time. Unfortunately I just can't go there again. I asked for Mofongo de Churrasco. I get a piece of meat with a tiny piece of Mofongo on the side. I almost cry when I saw my plate. If I wanted Churrasco with a side I would had ordered that. I expected better from the cook but unfortunately they are not Boricua. Mofongo de Churrasco is a good size of Mofongo and in the middle of it pieces of Churrasco etc, even integrated etc would had been great. Also the flavor of it all was horrible. This was more like a cheap skirt steak. My cousin had bistec encebollado. Was bad as well. Was sooo thin n cheap flavor. Looked more like a sandwich steak. The appetizer of tostones with ropa vieja, omg baaad. The ropa vieja was flavorless tick and rubbery making the tostones sooo saggy and wet. Ugh im just so disappointed. Is embarrassing at the same time going to eat "Boricua" food and being the opposite. The server that heard my complaint told me to give them one more chance. I just cant 😒😔😪
January 05 · Jackie GuerraExcellent food, I really can't complain about the quality of the dishes. Unfortunately we waited 15 minutes before getting a menu and it wasn't even busy. This place can probably triple it's profit by stepping up their customer service.
