Back in my home state and staying with my sister in the Bronx, there was no way I was going home without coming here for some hometown New York style diner good grub. I typically grab Dunkin Donuts on a daily but it’s just something about that diner style coffee in that old school but traditional white mug. It was so good. I opted for a a western omelette with turkey and Lo AND BEHOLD, they put real cut up/chunked up pieces of turkey in my omelette too.

I’ve been coming to M&G’s for about 4 years now. The food and service is always great. Whether you dine in or get takeout/delivery, the prices at M&G’s seriously can’t be beat. I’m not sure about the location further down Arthur Ave, but this one is definitely a gem.I would definitely recommend the standard issue breakfast items: pancakes, eggs Benedict, omelettes of any kind etc. Don’t miss their free coffee before 11 am (coffee is really good here). Also note that their breakfast potatoes are some of the best I’ve had.

M&G Restaurant is a basic neighbourhood restaurant with an affordable breakfast. Excellent service, good food and clean surrounding. If you are looking for an institution sitting on a budget, then this is your spot.

Such a hidden gem. The food is delicious, the portions are generous and the price is more than fair. Definitely stop by this place for a quick breakfast/diner meal if you’re in the area.
