Excellent food options. Owners work in the restaurant EVERYDAY!!I liked the fact that they did not have plastic cups or plates for the customers, every thing was glass.Buffalo chicken pizza was fantastic; thin crunchy crust with a ton of flavor. Fettuccine Alfredo, Calzone and Chicken Parmesan was enough for two meals. Tea was freshly brewed and tasted great.Prices are VERY reasonable. Our bill was $136 including taxes for 8 people.Worth visiting and supporting your local business!

I’ve read the reviews about Mony’s and had to go and try. The owner is so personable and raves about their fresh ingredients. Everything, including the dough, is fresh. My partner and I order a slice, me sweet Italian sausage and him, pepperoni. It didn’t disappoint. The slice was bigger than my hand and so good. I felt like I was in NYC again. Thank you Joseph! We will be coming back again.

This was their Giant Sliced Pizza — and yes, it lives up to the name! These massive slices are super easy to share, but you can also order a full pie, starting at 14” and going up from there.The Pizza Rolls were a fun twist — kind of like egg rolls from a Chinese restaurant, thanks to the crispy outer crust. You can fill them with any of their four pizza topping options, which was a nice customizable touch.Wings were solid, but I wasn’t a fan of the breading on the ravioli and mozzarella sticks — it had more of a cornbread texture that didn’t quite hit for me.Overall, I’d definitely recommend the pizza, especially if you’re into those giant, satisfying slices!

Friday Night Dinner ReviewWe dined in on a Friday night at this restaurant, which had only three staff members at the front. While the staff were very friendly, service was extremely slow—from taking our order to bringing out appetizers and entrées. It also took multiple attempts to get their attention to fix an incorrect order.Upon entering, there was a lingering fried food smell that was somewhat off-putting.We ordered a variety of items, excluding pizza. Here’s a breakdown of our experience:Appetizers:• Mozzarella Sticks: Completely lacking in flavor. Honestly, frozen store-bought versions taste better.• Garlic Knots: Initially forgotten and only brought out after we reminded them—right before our entrées arrived. Despite the name, they had no garlic flavor.• Marinara Sauce (served with both apps): This was the highlight—warm and absolutely delicious.Entrées:• Eggplant Sandwich: Very flavorful and enjoyable.• Chicken Parmesan with Spaghetti: Overwhelmed with marinara sauce to the point of being soggy.• Pizza Rolls: Deep-fried instead of oven-baked as expected—not ideal.• Vegetarian Penne Pasta: Ordered with pesto, but it arrived with no sauce at all. After flagging the staff again, it came back with cold pesto sauce slapped on top, making the entire dish cold and unappetizing.Overall Impressions:• The food was mediocre at best, with a few highlights (the marinara and eggplant sandwich).• Portions are generous, but that doesn’t make up for the lack of flavor or attention to detail.• The atmosphere could be more welcoming, and the kitchen should work on consistency and quality.In our opinion, the experience did not live up to the price, the hype, or the ratings.

My husband and I are in Houston for a weekend long event. I am 8 months pregnant and was wanting pizza. After looking up pizza restaurants near us, we came across Mony’s and we are so grateful we did! The customer service and food were AMAZING! From the moment we arrived the owner herself came to greet us, chat with us and answer any questions we had about the menu. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful as well. We ordered fried calamari and mozzarella sticks for appetizers and a 16 inch speciality pizza, half meat lovers and half New York spicy chicken ranch. I loved that you could customize your pizza this way. Everything came out quickly and tasted great! After talking to the owner a bit more we learned this restaurant has been around for 30+ years and is a local favorite! After dining in there, we definitely see why! Great food, great prices, great customer service and great atmosphere! We can not wait until our next trip to Houston so we can stop at Mony’s!!! THANK YOU!
