Don’t SAY I DIDN’T WARN YOU, I paid 56 dollar and up for absolutely nothing . I’m very pissed !
April 24 · Nana AkuaThe best Ghanaian restaurant in NY, the food here gives nostalgia to eating good food in Ghana. The Jollof rice was 10/10, the Fried Rice was really good too. Ate Waakye on another visit and that was equally good. The chicken was good too, and the salad was the most Ghanaian salad I've had in America. The service was okay, but it was a little difficult getting the attention of the servers (probably due to the large amount of orders they deal with).
June 26 · Ebenezer A.The food here is one of the most authentically Ghanaian ones I’ve had in the East Coast. Choose between the Osu RE Kenkey or the turkey tail (tsoffi). They also have a stock of Ghanaian beers and drinks - malt, Star beer 🍻. We had lunch with a group of friends and cousins when we visited the Bronx and it was a memorable experience. Parking is hard to find in the area.
June 14 · EdwardSo I was excited to find Ghanaian food in walking distance. I ordered the Waakye combo and I was not happy at all. Goat was tuff and fish was dry. Couldn't eat it. Feeling disappointed and angry. I also ordered a second plate, the fried rice chicken combo. I started to not eat it after the first plate but when I did WOW! Redemption! Everything was perfect and the flavor was amazing.I say this with love. If it is not right don't serve it. Yes I wanted Ghanaian food but I also wanted to support the business. Win brother by doing it right with all off the food. You got this 👍.
September 08 · Dk DrakeThe food was definitely not what I anticipated. The portions were small. The grilled shrimp was overcooked and extremely salty. The fried rice was hard and lukewarm. The fried yams were extremely hard. The tsoffi was not well seasoned, very dry, and all bone. I was very disappointed.
