★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I spent $59 for food that was NOT TASTY at all! The super burrito was NOT GOOD! NO ONIONS, NOTHING, JUST SHREDDED MEAT! The nachos were DISGUSTING, VERY LITTLE CHEESE. The tacos were the ONLY THING GOOD out of my order. The lady that took my order was very unfriendly, and she looked as if I was NOT EXPECTED to be there! Guess, maybe BECAUSE I'm NOT HISPANIC! But, I PULLED UP in a BRAND NEW RIDE in front of their truck! ALOT of REVIEWS, There are BETTER FOOD TRUCKS AROUND Houston, that TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS WITH RESPECT AND DIGNITY. Especially when a customer is spending the amount of money that I did! I was a NEW CUSTOMER. I'LL NEVER GO BACK there!
August 15 · Wilson WileyI use to love coming to this place but not anymore this is my last time coming here. The past 2 times I’ve been here my food has been so greasy and nasty. It’s like they dip their quesadillas in grease and use old tortillas. My fries weren’t good either. Plus the wait for the food was ridiculous. Definitely not a good spot for tacos anymore.
July 25 · Isabel MarieWow what a flavorful taco. I loved the pastor for sure. It has that traditional flavor and is completely tender. The Trompo was also great. Normally you run into chewy meat at a taco truck, but not here. Also the salsas were great, but they are pretty spicy (if you don’t want that). The ladies that helped me were very sweet! They even helped me with my Spanish!
May 14 · Blake PNOT ONE TO COMPLAIN, IM JUST GOING TO TELL YOU THE TRUTH...They usually are good but lately. They have been doing us wrong. I refuse to even call them to fix my order. Last time I ordered a burrito and they didn't even put meat in it. The last 2 times, when we order fries they...they charged me 3$ for this? I don't know what's going on but do better. Thats all I can say. I'm loyal and drive 45 minutes to go to this location. Thinking next time it's going to be how it's supposed to be. Y'all let me down for the last time. I hope y'all have a better experience.
July 10 · Amber GonzalesWent there this past Saturday and unfortunately it is NOT what it use to be back in 2010. I graduated from Phillis Wheatley HS and would go with my friends after school everyday. But unfortunately the food and service is not the same. My 1st initial problem was when I pulled up at the "drive thru." I waited patiently for almost 10 minutes and ranged the bell multiple times. I figured it was not working or closed so I parked my car and got off. I asked the lady in Spanish, "is the drive thru open because I've been over there waiting for 10 minutes." She responded by saying in Spanish, "it is. I was just on a call." A call? For TEN MINUTES? While at work??? Crazy. So then I proceed to get back to my car, go to the drive thru and wait for my order. Got my order, made sure I had everything and left. I got 2 tortas and one gordita. Total $25. When I got home I proceeded to open my torta and thats when I noticed it had little to no meat. The torta had more lettuce than meat. So so disappointing. I've had BLT with more meat than this. I basically ate a thick bread lettuce torta with a side of no meat. Absolutely ridiculous! Then I proceed to check the gordita and it was the size of 12oz coke can. You could literally grab a can of coke, sit it on top, and there about the same circumference. CRAZY SMALL!!! This place is no longer the vibe. It's embarrassing because my military friends from out of town always ask whats a good "Mexican spot" to get food, and I remember 10 years ago this was popular, but this place is no longer the spot to recommend or even close to what it was before. In summary: after a long night of clubbing and drinking, the food might taste decent, but if you're sober... I can 100% promise you can really taste how subpar the food is at this spot. At 0200AM, you're better off getting some Jack in the Box crispy tacos or Whataburger right next to this food truck. This will definitely be my last time coming here. (Mind you, I live on the Northside! But I drove all the way here thinking it was good as before and instead wasted my gas, money, and time.)
