★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I went because it had good reviews, even better than papaturros, which i love. This is the definition of "hole in the wall". Although clean. It is very dated and in need of repairs. The service isn't the typical happy latin service I'm used to in any latin American restaurant. The pupusas were good, although I'm not a fan of the green sauce in place of the traditional red sauce. The cashew juice was really good though. Overall, I won't go back, There are too many other pupuserias to try. And I'll go back to Papaturros any time.
April 23 · Jared WalkerThe food is ok sometimes it does need some seasoning. The customer services changes a lot depending on who is there and who helps you, specially if the order is to go. Normally when the gentleman that usually helps he gives me silverware, napkins, the bag full of veggies and the pupusas are placed in a big to go box. When it’s the usual lady that I see there I never get silverware, napkins, the bag of veggies less than half full( I order 4-7pupusas), and the order is placed in a small to go container. The pics are of today and it was the lady that helped me, the green salsa was super salty. I don’t understand why they are so stingy with things when it’s to go, but when you eat there they aren’t stingy with anything. They bring out a well size container of veggies and sauce and treat you a bit differently.Update: the pupusa special for Wednesday is no longer $1.30 they increased to $1.50 and as of 10/19/2022 they are not sold in single they are 3x$5. Would like for the filling portion to increase if beginning to charge more.
October 19 · LFantastic Horchata! Got Burrito and Quesadilla which had essentially the same components, except no rice in the Quesadilla.
June 27 · Lynda MenardWhen they answer the phone it feels like your bothering them. I made my order. The sign says they close at 8, well I showed up and they were locking their doors at 7:48. They didn't want my service I presume. That's okay. They forgot my chicharrones once aswell. I won't be going back.
June 06 · Nancy TorresTerrible service, they have inconsistent prices and are very quick to overcharge for food of inconsistent quality. The staff (especially the cook) are incredibly rude and generally unpleasant. Never eating here again, save yourself the time and take your money anywhere else there are many other salvadoran dining options nearby with better service food quality and cleanliness
