Teriyaki R Us Reviews
Teriyaki R Us – A Sauceless Saga in Sad Stir-FryLet me begin by saying, I wanted to like Teriyaki R Us. I really did. But from the moment I walked in, it felt more like Teriyaki R “Why Us?”The ambience? Think nightclub meets cafeteria. The music was blaring so loud I half expected a fog machine and backup dancers to appear. When the employee tried to take my order, we ended up yelling at each other like we were arguing over a karaoke mic at 2 a.m. (Spoiler: No one was singing.)I started with an order of chicken fried dumplings—or rather, dumplings formerly known as chicken. These little guys were fried within an inch of their lives and completely devoid of flavor, moisture, or, shockingly, any identifiable chicken. It was like biting into a crunchy puff of confusion. And guess what? No dumpling dipping sauce. None. When I asked, I was told they don’t carry it. This is a dumpling crime and I’m considering filing a small claims case with the food court of law.Next up: the spicy chicken teriyaki with fried rice. “Spicy” is clearly open to interpretation, because I’ve had tap water with more kick. The chicken itself was passable, but the fried rice was on the dry side—like, “I-need-a-glass-of-water-and-a-prayer” dry.But oh, the teriyaki steak over white rice with mixed vegetables—this was the main event. I made one simple request: “Can you please put the vegetables in a separate container?” The answer? Sure! For the low, low price of two extra dollars. When I explained I wasn’t asking for extra vegetables, just for them to be exiled to a different container, the employee stood firm: separate container = extra charge. I couldn’t help but wonder—are the containers made of hand-blown glass? Lined with gold? Filled with regret? At that point, I was done. Between the lack of sauce, lack of flavor, and the abundance of side-eye for requesting basic food separation, I can honestly say: I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Ever. For any reason. Unless your favorite seasoning is disappointment. One star for the effort, and because zero isn’t an option.“Food that feeds the soul, beauty that speaks volumes, and travel that tells a story always through the eyes of Italy Loves India.”— Alyson Savino
April 24 · Alyson SavinoThere food is absolutely delicious n they are very nice n precise there.
August 18 · Cristina GonzalezI've had their food several times and honestly it's the best teriyaki I've had. I typically don't like teriyaki often. But crave it here and there. But once I had their food. I was eating it almost every night. Definitely recommend 👌
August 03 · Chris LThat’s not chicken they are serving. It’s some other animal they use that taste just like it. The skin texture and fat locations are unlike any part of a chicken I’ve ever eaten. And I’ve eaten a whole chicken cut into pieces and I’ve never had or seen textures of fat and skin, like I’ve tasted in this. Even the crab in the sushi felt fake the texture was fresh like the sauce was like eel. I don’t normally like leaving bad reviews because your business will do what it do without me. But if I can save one person the headache who cares about food. Then I hopes this finds you well.
March 27 · KrYmSoN REINIt’s good! The place is nice and clean. Sushi was good. Hopefully they expand more on their menu because this place has potential. Oh and the passion fruit lemonade was tasty too but a bit sweet. I just added more water and that fixed it 😊
