I experienced Toca Madera for my 23rd birthday. Initially we had encountered about a 15 minute wait time after our reservations for 6:30. The ambience was beautiful. The music and scenery was so nice. Our waiter was amazing and checked on us throughout the entirety of our reservation. The cocktails were so delicious especially the watermelon margarita. The Branzino, street corn and truffle Mac n cheese were 10/10. I thoroughly enjoyed the food. I would definitely return. The only downside is parking.

We started with the Toca Tacos—the Truffle Mushroom (my favorite!), Al Pastor, and Sea Bass—each packed with bold flavor. The Diver Scallops were absolutely incredible, and the Chicken Hot Rock was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Don’t even get me started on the Street Corn—so good!And the cocktails? Next level. The Noble Margarita, Toca Margarita (my favorite, especially with the sugar skull presentation), and the Watermelon Margarita were all fabulous.

This place was 10/10! We went for our wedding anniversary. From the food to the service everything was fantastic! I loved the live music, fancy cocktails, tasty food and attentiveness we experienced. At least 5 different people came to check on our table. I’m glad they worked out whatever kinks people previously posted. We went on a Friday night around 7pm with reservations and did wait to be seated but nothing too crazy. Lighting the drinks on fire was fun. We will definitely be back! For those who said it was pricey it’s definitely nice dining and you pay for what you get. I honestly didn’t think the prices were that bad.

My first time dining here, and this place lives up to the dress code, which is nice. With reservations, no wait time. When you come in, you're greeted and asked about dietary restrictions. The ambiance is romantic. The music wasn't too soft or too loud.The customer service was exceptional they stayed on top of cleanliness. They were attentive but not overwhelmingly so. The managers came around to ask how service and food were.The live music and performance is an additional bonus for the experience. However, even with live music, it wasn't too loud.The drinks looked and tasted amazing. The food was my least favorite, but it was still palatable. In my opinion, it lacked in flavor.I would visit again.

Houston does have the perfect restaurant! They have great drinks and my favorite are the ones they set on fire. What a show! It gets everyone’s attention in the restaurant and I love it. I love how they present their dessert with flames. Made me feel special. The service is the best I’ve ever seen. They’re so attentive.Their steaks are great along with the truffle mac & cheese. It was definitely medium rare but more so rare.My favorite was getting a front seat to watching the beautiful lady work her magic with fire. Truly an unforgettable experience and great for special occasions.
