That place is 5 Napkin Burger. More than just a name, it's a promise—a commitment to a burger so juicy, so packed with flavor, and so wonderfully messy that you'll undoubtedly need at least five napkins to clean up. This is a place that celebrates comfort food with a gourmet twist, using high-quality ingredients and creative combinations to elevate the classic American burger. It's a spot that manages to feel both cozy and trendy, making it a favorite for locals and tourists alike who are looking for a genuine, flavorful meal in a lively atmosphere.
From the moment you walk in, the restaurant's "old-school, chill vibe" sets the stage for a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience. The decor is thoughtfully designed to create a comfortable, inviting mood, and the space is large enough to handle a steady flow of customers without feeling overwhelmingly crowded. While the name suggests a singular focus on burgers, the menu is surprisingly diverse, featuring everything from fresh salads and healthy quinoa bowls to decadent milkshakes and a robust selection of cocktails and beer. This ensures that there’s something for every craving and every companion, whether you’re a devout carnivore or a vegetarian seeking a delicious meal. The restaurant's dedication to quality is evident in its use of 100% Certified Angus Beef for its signature burgers and fresh, spot-on ingredients that make every dish's flavors "perfectly combined," as one customer noted.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 15 Napkin Burger is just the best for that old-school, chill vibe. Seriously, the place is decorated so perfectly, it really sets the mood. No reservations, just walk in how great is that! And the food was undeniably delicious. Especially my kale salad! You can tell they use fresh ingredients because the flavors and spices are just spot-on, perfectly combined. Our drinks were super refreshing too, which is always a plus. And honestly, the service was top-notch! It's exactly what you want when you're hungry and looking for something cozy, comforting, and just genuinely good.
July 12 · Anika NaneyshviliSecond time eating here and enjoyed it as much as the first time. Great burgers and drinks. We reserved a table ahead of time and just walked in. If I had any complaints, the fries are lacking character but not bad. Bonus points that they are crinkle cut.
August 25 · M W5 Napkin Burger in Hell’s Kitchen is a chill spot to grab some tasty grub. We popped in for a laid-back date night with our pup and decided to sit outside in the summer heat, which was just perfect.First off, the tuna poke appetizer was off the charts—definitely order that! My partner couldn’t get enough of the wings, and the onion rings hit the spot, crispy and delicious.Drink-wise, the frozen watermelon margarita stole the show. My partner loved it; it’s super refreshing and perfect for a warm evening.I tried the truffle burger, and while it was good, it was a bit too rich for my taste. No biggie, though. My partner's buffalo chicken sandwich was awesome—packed with flavor and just right. We did make a reservation, but there were a few empty tables, so it’s pretty chill if you decide to just wander in. Overall, 5 Napkin's a great spot to hang out, enjoy some good food, and soak in the Hell's Kitchen vibe. Plus, dog-friendly seating is a win!
June 21 · Casey MasonI have a 5 napkin burger and 5 napkin gold large. It’s absolutely amazing burger, the patty is so crunchy outside and tender inside. Once I bite it, the juicy of meat burst into my mouth, comes with onion which is totally caramelized well.Amazing place for burger! It’s my personal favorite burger place!I will definitely visit again once I come back to New York.Jerry is a great waiter, it’s great to have him in this pleasure meal. It’s the first time in New York I’m willing to tip.
June 27 · 蔡季倫Very tasty food and great service! Burgers are delicious but HUGE; light eaters may want to split one with someone. Decent fries (which you can have loaded if desired), great onion rings, and surprisingly good Brussels sprouts can accompany your entree (we didn't try the broccoli side, but that is also an option). The only drawback about dining in is that it's very loud, making conversation difficult.
