★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Adyar Ananda Bhavan in Manhattan offers a delightful South Indian breakfast experience. The idli was soft and fluffy, the vadas were perfectly crisp, and the dosa was flavorful with just the right amount of crunch. The accompanying chutneys and sambar were authentic and full of flavor. The staff was polite, and the service was quick, even during a busy morning. The only drawback was the limited seating, which made it feel a bit cramped. Otherwise, a great spot for a satisfying and traditional Indian breakfast!
January 09 · Rav cellAbsolutely Delicious!Indian Dosa serves some of the best South Indian food I’ve had. The dosas are crispy, flavorful, and paired perfectly with fresh chutney and sambar. Great service, cozy atmosphere, and affordable prices. A must-visit for dosa lovers! Server girls are really good service. The best Dosa.
April 24 · ajai gunarlIt’s was amazing to see a south Indian restaurant providing authentic cuisine that has 101% great service and food quality. Everything is freshly prepared, I can taste that. I have been to few more South Indian restaurants but this is unique to me.Their Iconic South Indian Thali and Curries were top notch. My friend tried their Pondicherry Masala Dosa and Mango Lassi and he was calling back his native days on TamilNadu.Gentle Service and Timely Response was impressive. Budget friendly restaurant that anyone can find in a City like NYC with authenticity.
May 13 · PremTasty ghee dosa and authentic filter coffee—just a short walk from Grand Central Station.
June 29 · Amirtha Varshini A SVery good food. Touches the soul. Not sure why low ratings. Been in NY for a few years and this restaurant is literally in my neighborhood. Regret not trying it earlier because of the reviews. Restaurant is very simple and reminds you of home. And every thing tastes like home cooked. This place is my new fav. A bit pricey for fully vegetarian meals.
