★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The food needs more seasoning it was pretty bland. I know the tamales are great but didn't try them this time. The service is friendly and not much waiting. The decor featured elements that were deeply rooted in folklore and tradition.
June 12 · arturo a rodriguezCame during a week day.Yes its open.Food is awesome as always.Place is very clean and quiet. So if you are looking for somewhere to eat during work and not wanting massive crowds. This place is perfect for it.
July 29 · Abel MendozaThe food is absolutely amazing! You can’t find better tamales anywhere in Houston! Their cafeteria style is so fun getting to try new foods also! Their Chile Rellenos was mind blowing! Can’t recommend it more!
March 01 · Andrea Cedenoif you're looking for authentic Mexican food, it's here. From the moment you walk in you get a good combined smell of all foods they have to offer. Ranging from sweet to savory. Everything is always served warm and fresh as well!! Quesa birria tacos full of flavor, tamales are soft and flavorful. The aguas frescas always do it for me, not overly sweet and you can taste every ingredient in it. The staff is friendly and quick too!! It takes no more than 8 minutes to get served, even during their busiest hours. The atmosphere is also always very lively but not too loud. It's perfect for having lunch with a friend or family.Would 1000% recommend to anyone !
June 28 · MichelleI went to try the tamales. I tried ordering tamales and they said they only sell them in packs? So if you want to try different types you have to order packs of 6 or 12. I was sitting down to eat and I was by myself. You also can’t get a plate with rice and beans. You have to buy an entire order of rice or beans. The restaurant is made for larger groups. I spent $30 because every thing is family size.
