August 19 · T. C.When I arrived I wasn’t sure I was going to stay, parking was limited and there was no sign on the building wasn’t really sure I was in the right place, that has nothing to do with the food, service and Fantastic Atmosphere Pleasantly surprised when I say “You betta get in here!”, don’t be fooled by the outside appearance don’t miss out because you couldn’t find the perfect parking spot Go in Anyway, this is some of the best food I had experienced during my trip to Houston, Tx and the top it all off with a Lavender martini This is a must try and I will be back, I now have a whole new crew and meet them right here
August 01 · Yolanda HolmesHidden gem for sure. Nice, kind of Quaint spot. Nice atmosphere with good music & good vibes. Cute for a date spot or just going out alone for some good food or a cocktail. The owner Ed was really personable and made sure everything was good. The food is so good and flavorful, it tastes like it’s from home. I had the Gumbeaux 🔥 to start, Shrimp & Spinach for my entree, & a lavender lemon drop. The spinach alone was a 10 out of 10. I’ll definitely be back.
January 25 · Tiffany TilionThe food is always fresh, and the atmosphere is Awesome! My favorite is the Gumbo and the Catfish Sandwich! There's music, good drinks, dessert and friendly people with good vibes! OMGeeeee, so DeLish!
February 26 · Marilyn G'LamoureI’ve passed this place multiple times heading home and even follow them on Instagram. I finally went in on a Sunday evening and it was the worst experience ever ! Upon entering there wasn’t a big crowd, maybe 6 people. I ordered the snapper with shrimp which wasn’t cheap but also was advertised so good, I just had to try it. I placed my order around 4pm and waitied almost 2 hours with out any concern from the owner or person behind the bar. Upon receiving my food, it was very flavorless and fried horribly! The shrimp was fried in flour as well. I would not suggest this place to anyone, especially if your hungry. It also seems if your not a friend of the owner or not a familiar face you don’t get the same service.Tips: tell the cooks to change gloves, he had to same pair of gloves on doing everything inside and outside.
