★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1A good option for happy hours if you're in Murray Hill/ midtown. $6 drafts and cocktails for $8-$12.. their espresso martini is pretty good.. the pineapple upside down cocktail was meh - watered down, didn't really taste the ingredients much.. their shishito peppers were outstanding! There was a miso lemon glaze on them that made the peppers an unami bomb! This aside, their lemon curd pavlova and nutella chocolate bars were brilliant!
July 20 · balaI thought the food was good. Service was ok. Atmosphere looks fine. But I gave it 4 stars because it is loud and I could barely hear the person I came with sitting across from me. Maybe I came at a crowded time. Some of the food or drink items are creative or trendy healthy which is cool. Not sure exactly what makes this place australian besides the vegemite and the word brekkie
April 03 · DrewI have been a regular customer at your restaurant and often come here for lunch. While I really enjoy the food, I find it extremely frustrating and rude that the waitstaff remove my plate before I even finish eating—sometimes within just 20 minutes of sitting down! Even when I am still slowly eating my fries, they take my food away without asking, and then immediately bring the check without me requesting it. This has happened to me multiple times (3-4 times), and I felt the need to bring it to your attention. Please allow your customers to enjoy their meals at their own pace and be more considerate. No one should feel like they are being rushed out. Some customers may want to relax, have coffee or dessert, or simply take their time before receiving the check. I hope this issue is addressed, as it seriously affects the dining experience.Thank you.
March 07 · Gokces YildirimWe would highly recommend the Banter restaurant on Sullivan street. This one was good but the one on Sullivan street was smaller, more cozy with better outside seating options and way less noisy. Service was good. It was a little too loud. We felt like the food was better at other location but it was still delicious. We got Nutella French toast, sweet potato fries (you’ve to ask them for spicy mayo as it’s the best dip we ever had) and egg and ham sandwich. We got two cappuccinos and a latte.
April 26 · AlexWalked-in on a busy Sunday morning and waited about 20-25 minutes for a table. The day menu’s a standard Australian-style brunch menu that’s done right. Got the Banter Big Breakfast and honestly didn’t expect much but every component of the dish worked well together. Ordered their Red Radiance juice as well and it was perfect. A friend got their Mushroom Toast but noted that the whipped garlic feta may be a tad bit too overpowering for some. Overall a great place for brunch that actually tastes good!
