Baraka Halal Food Inc is distinguished by several features and highlights that shape the customer experience. The atmosphere is described as casual, which is typical for a fast-food establishment in a high-traffic area. This informal setting allows for a relaxed and unpretentious meal. The restaurant is also noted as being good for kids, which indicates a family-friendly environment. As a purveyor of quick bites, its primary highlight is the focus on speed and efficiency. However, it's important to consider customer feedback, which provides a more nuanced view. Some reviews mention that the taste of the food is decent, suggesting that the core product is flavorful. One customer noted that the chicken over rice was decent in taste. This indicates that the restaurant can deliver on a palatable product. However, it is also important to consider that other customer feedback has pointed out some areas of concern. For example, some reviews have noted that the service can be slower than expected for a fast-food place, and the prices may be higher than those of typical New York City food trucks. One customer mentioned that a chicken over rice was more expensive than what they recalled from other establishments like Halal Guys. Another review expressed concern over a high price for a double cheeseburger combo. These points suggest that while the taste may be decent, the value proposition and speed may not always meet customer expectations. The features of this establishment, therefore, are a mix of positives like a permanent location with dine-in options and a casual atmosphere, tempered by customer feedback regarding pricing and service speed.
- Casual Atmosphere: The setting is relaxed and informal, providing a comfortable place for a quick meal.
- Good for Kids: The restaurant is considered a family-friendly option.
- Dine-in Option: Unlike many street food vendors, Baraka Halal Food Inc offers seating for customers.
- Central Location: The restaurant's address is in a prime location in Midtown Manhattan, making it highly accessible.
To visit Baraka Halal Food Inc, you can go to their address at 159 W 50th St, New York, NY 10019, USA. For any inquiries, it is best to contact the restaurant directly. However, like many fast-food spots, the primary mode of interaction is in-person at the counter. The business operates with a straightforward service model, with customers approaching the counter to place and receive their orders. The absence of a listed public phone number in available data is not uncommon for small, quick-service establishments that rely on direct foot traffic and in-person transactions. The physical location is the main point of contact for anyone looking to try their food. It is always a good practice to check the current operating hours directly at the location or through available third-party apps before making a special trip. The location's central position in a bustling part of the city means that it relies heavily on its ability to serve a constant flow of customers from the street. Therefore, the best way to get a feel for the place is to simply walk up and experience it for yourself. The business's information, including address, provides the necessary details for anyone in the New York area to find and access it conveniently. The emphasis on in-person service and location is a key part of the establishment's identity.
When considering Baraka Halal Food Inc, there are a few factors that make it a compelling choice for some and a point of consideration for others. The worthiness of choosing this establishment depends on what a customer values most in their dining experience. The main draw is its location and the convenience of having both takeout and dine-in options. For those working or living in the immediate vicinity of West 50th Street, having a dedicated storefront for a halal quick bite is a significant advantage over a street cart, especially during inclement weather. The taste of the food is described as decent by a customer, which means it can be a perfectly satisfying meal. However, it is also important to consider the critiques. The price point, as noted in reviews, appears to be higher than what some customers expect for this type of cuisine in New York City. The speed of service, which is a critical factor for a fast-food restaurant, has also been a point of concern for at least one customer. Therefore, what is worth choosing is a matter of personal priorities. If you are in the area, appreciate the option of sitting down to eat, and are willing to pay a slightly higher price for a convenient and decent-tasting meal, Baraka Halal Food Inc could be a good fit. However, if your top priorities are the absolute fastest service and the lowest possible price point, a street vendor might be a better choice. Ultimately, it is a business that offers a specific experience in a prime location, and its value is best judged by the individual customer based on their needs and expectations.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I had a really disappointing experience here. I was charged significantly more than I expected. 95$ for a double cheese burger fries and a drink. It felt unfair and left me feeling taken advantage of. I definitely won’t be returning, and I’d recommend others be very careful before ordering here.
July 31 · khaoula maslouhI was the only customer when I ordered a chicken over rice. Turns out I waited for 10 mins before getting my food, and guess what- they charged $13 for it. It’s more expensive than Halal Guys as far as I recall. As fast food, it is neither fast, nor cheap, and the portion is smaller than average NYC food trucks. The taste is decent though. But overall lots of things to improve
February 27 · Eric LiGenuine thieves serving disgusting food. I asked the vendor how much a knish was and he looked me in the eye and told me $5. I bought two and he proceeded to take the longest time hearing them up - because he was thawing them out! Then with a genuine smile, he charged my card $22+ with a service fee. When we tasted the food after we had walked a couple blocks - it was still partially frozen! He'll get nothing after my dispute.
May 26 · Collin Alexander BrownBe careful if you’re paying with a card, he’s charging much more than what he tells you.
