★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This restaurant is a rare find—timeless in atmosphere yet warm and inviting from the moment you walk in. It feels like stepping into a place where tradition meets quiet elegance. The menu isn’t overwhelming, but every option feels thoughtfully chosen, leaning into classic flavors with a refined touch.I began with a baked onion stuffed with fontina cheese and caramelized onion—rich, savory, and deeply satisfying. It was the kind of starter that sets the tone for a memorable meal. The main course was a standout: delicate venison chops, perfectly cooked, served alongside a poached pear that added just the right amount of sweetness and contrast. The balance of flavors was extraordinary—earthy, gamey, subtly sweet. Before the meal, I had a gin martini—nothing showy, just perfectly dry, clean, and expertly made. Sometimes simplicity is the highest form of sophistication, and this one nailed it.To close, I was served a glass of dessert wine I hadn’t tried before. It was smooth and fragrant, with notes of ripe fruit and a gentle honeyed finish. It complemented the meal beautifully and left a lasting impression.Service was attentive without being intrusive, and the ambiance encourages you to slow down and savor every bite. Highly recommended for those who appreciate classic cuisine done with heart and precision.
March 26 · Welvis SotoVery nice vintage restaurant. The decor is amazing. The food is excellent. Nice big portions and cooked to perfection. The service was excellent as well. They were very attentive and helpful.
July 21 · LondonerThis is an absolutely beautiful and classy restaurant -- sitting in the garden transforms you to a different place, certainly does not feel like Manhattan! The service was good but I felt there were not enough servers for the amount of tables there. The food was good but not excellent. It was a group of 7 of us and we enjoyed the pre-theater menu (for $65, which is a great price) in which we picked an appetizer, a main course, and a dessert.I had the Caprese salad, which was delicious and the Pacific bass (Chilean Sea Bass) with asparagus and jicama root, which was also delicious. We also had the Ragu pasta (delicious) and vegetable soup (good) for appetizers. For the main course, my friends got the Crab meat (very good), steak (good), beef dish (okay), and chicken (good).Good selection of wine and some cocktails. One of my girl friends also tried the non-alcoholic fruit juice (watermelon, honeydew, melon). As for dessert, it was a good, albeit small, selection-- the flan was excellent! The creme brulee was very good, the apricot tarte was good, and the baked peach was okay.
June 06 · Natalya PigulskayaAMAZING outdoor seating. They gave this wonderful outdoor space that is unbelievably quiet. The food was very good but the space is what makes this restaurant phenomenal. The service is also really good but it’s the workers who make that possible (obvi not the restaurant). The staff is so kind and ready for any ask — love them! Food was honestly, so so, but I’m a vegan so that may be why lol. Wine was delicious 😋
May 04 · Bianca PerezThoughtfully, perfectly-seasoned food served in Old World elegance. The waiters are practiced at getting you to your Broadway show on time, efficient and polite. A truly wonderful experience.
