You have to try the jerk chicken. We ordered a 4 piece jerk wing, a beef patty, a rum punch, and a strawberry daiquiri. The jerk chicken seemed more braised than grilled and it seemed like 2 small full wings (maybe considering each flat and drum as a “piece”?) but talk about fall off the bone and seasoned to perfection!!! The beef patty was a bit underseasoned, but the drinks were tasty additions to the meal. To top it off the customer service was amazing and we were checked on throughout our time. The bartender even asked our receipt number so he could bring our order to us once it was ready! I’ll definitely be back and I plan to try the jerk chicken bowl or the burrito next time!

Visited Big Tings while visiting New York inside the Chelsea Market. Cute, clean, and well put together establishment. Customer service was a 10/10 menu items were clear and concise, I ordered a beef patty and an oxtail bowl. The oxtail bowl came with cabbage, rice and beans, a nice portion that I was able to share and wash full before I could finish my half. We sat at bar and ate good was playing and the ambiance set the tone. I’m glad I found this place, everything was really good and flavorful!

Big Tings/Jerk Chicken:The jerk chicken atop the rice and cabbage was nothing unique. It wasn’t horrible or spectacular, but it was rather pricey for something that I could have bought anywhere at a cheaper price.

If you want real Jamaican food check out Big Tings in Chelsea Market. On-E Records artist Jittaun recently ate there. She had the jerk chicken bowl with a Ting and absolutely loved it! The owner Sean was there so I included him in the video!

The best food and service. The flavor of the Caribbean is in every dish. I love this restaurant so much and the owner, Sean, is one of the coolest people. The staff is also very friendly and each visit makes for a wonderful experience!
