★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Really liked this spot. The cocktails are on point and the vibe is super cool without trying too hard. The manager and staff were really friendly and welcoming, which makes a huge difference. Definitely a place I’d come back to for drinks.
August 23 · ALI ASuch a fun and lively new spot! You feel transported when stepping inside with the whimsical decor. Loved the cucumber salad, fried chicken and crudo! Orange wine and cocktails are refreshing. Bathroom is adorable. Friendly staff and great atmosphere overall!
June 23 · Romina MonttiSuch a gorgeous wee bar! Got a table outside and had the most delicious food and drinks. Loved the spicy margs, recommend the fried chicken and spicy cucumber highly! We had the best service too.
June 10 · Isabella MoonDecided to head to a wine bar on a whim. There weren't reservations available online but the restaurant stated walk ins were welcome. Whelp, I walked in and there were seats available! The scallop crudo was more fishy than buttery (I'm thinking a fresh omakase scallop but this was NOT it). The mains did not seem particularly innovative (had the pasta and the fish - it was alright. Flavors weren't stunning but it was basic and edible). It's a small kitchen and it's a WINE BAR girl - you're not here for the food!Split a bottle of Riesling after having one of the reds ... then became hungrier and ordered the fried chicken which DID hit. And the bread was also *chefs kiss* - perhaps it's the wine talking? But we are at a wine bar and the wine is stellar. There's such a great variety and the vibes of the venue are fun and vibrant. Friends of the staff would pop in, have a chat, taste a swirl of wine, and be off on their merry way. I'd return - for wine, chicken, and conversation :)
July 22 · Sandy XianHad an unfortunately dehumanizing experience with a blonde Caucasian hostess who was dismissive and rude and exhibited not only a couple micro aggressions but was apparently colorblind to POC or at least was profiling our party because our treatment vs everyone else’s was starkly different. Our group of 3 came for drinks at opening and inquired about availability to which she didn’t even bother asking if we’d want to sit inside or even by the bar lmao like bro it’s 85°F out (we came for the whole experience, not to sit outside by the bush sans vibes and pay $18+ for drinks—mind you, there was only a party of 2 and no one else inside) but she directed us to take a seat outside. Hospitality was non-existent, the other guy who helped us didn’t say anything after we had greeted him and thanked him for pouring water for the table. We were then taken care of by a nice server who said indoor seating was def available. So as soon as we stepped back inside, the hostess immediately batted her eyes and asked us 3 to move to a smaller 2-person table by the corner which was an extremely tight fit (and again, not a packed house inside—reservations exist but no one was pulling up. I worked in the service industry so could empathize and give grace to the staff esp if it was a madhouse inside). She then reiterated that we had 90mins. Bro, we left within 45mins and the table that seated 4 was still empty. As soon as we left, she had let a party of two white ppl (originally seated outside) sit at the table of 4. Would’ve stayed for another round of drinks since our 90mins hadn’t been up yet but vibes were not it. Still racked a $100 bill though. To preface, I’ve been to Moonflower, their sister bar many times and enjoyed my experience so was excited to try this place out but bummed to have left with an unpleasant experience.
