### What is worth choosing
Bis Bas Mediterranean Grill offers a dining experience that is truly worth choosing for a multitude of reasons. First and foremost, the food itself is of exceptional quality. One of the biggest fears of any New York diner is getting a lackluster, corporate-feeling meal, but Bis Bas completely shatters those expectations. The ingredients are fresh, real, and prepared with care. The customer reviews speak volumes about this, with one diner praising the "sweet juicy succulent and tender" fried cauliflower and "real chicken no water injections or weird chemicals." This commitment to quality is evident in every bite, from the perfectly seasoned meats to the vibrant, fresh salads.
Beyond the food, the menu offers incredible value. The portions are generous, as noted by a customer who got two meals out of a single bowl, making it a highly affordable option for a high-quality, filling meal. This is a significant plus in a city where great food often comes with a hefty price tag. The fact that you can get an "adventure for your mouth on an affordable lunch break cost" is a testament to the restaurant’s value proposition. The variety of the menu, from chef-curated bowls to build-your-own options, ensures that there’s always something new to try or a reliable favorite to return to. The inclusion of numerous vegetarian, vegan, and healthy options also makes it a fantastic choice for a wide range of diets.
Finally, the friendly and professional service elevates the entire experience. The staff is not just there to take your order; they are genuinely helpful and kind, as highlighted by a customer who was convinced by their server, Brian, to try something that ended up being one of their "best dinners in a long time." This level of personal connection and helpfulness is rare and makes you feel truly valued as a customer. The casual and welcoming atmosphere also makes it a stress-free place to dine, whether you’re alone or with company. In a city full of options, Bis Bas Mediterranean Grill stands out by delivering on all fronts: delicious, high-quality food, generous portions at a fair price, and service that makes you want to come back again and again. It's a genuine highlight of the Gramercy food scene and a must-visit for anyone looking for an authentic and satisfying meal.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The food was so good! I got the cauliflower with added falafel which happened to be vegan (not a vegan just was craving something veg-forward), and it was so satisfying and the portions were generous. It ended up being two meals for me. Well worth the price. I rarely leave reviews but I was so pleasantly surprised by this place. The people were also so kind and helpful. Actually the best fast casual experience I have ever had.
August 15 · Myra ManningDude, this place blew me away. I'm always afraid to go into what look like corporate restaurant retails chains to me, you know the type, sprawling floor plans, bright colors, employees in branded uniforms. It's the fear of canola oil soaked mediocre food at high prices that scares me and rightdully so it should. But this place! The fried cauliflower was sweet juicy succulent and tender combined with the yogurt cucumber raita topping which is cool and refreshing. This was all rested on top of a bed of shredded beet and kale salad, white rice and tender chicken. The chicken was clearly real chicken no water injections or weird chemicals.I have to thank Brian my server because you could tell I was very very nice about the food being disgusting and he convinced me to just go for it and help me order what was one of the best dinners I've had in a long time. All the flavors did extremely well together but stuck out as individual dishes which is what makes this place special. A real adventure for your mouth on an affordable lunch break cost.If you like sweet and tangy flavor of cucumber raises and the sweet caramelized tenderness of bright cauliflower those are my two absolute favorites so far.
August 22 · Janu VanierHad a bowl here with the chicken shawarma and it was good! It did come out kinda cold which I was disappointed about and if I hadnt had to dine in I wouldve just heated it up at home and it wouldve been okay. Nevertheless, the flavor was still there while kinda cold. The sauces were yum and I thought the topping selection was pretty solid although I wish the cauliflower was a topping and not a protein!!!When I went they were running a bogo bowl deal which was an absolute steal if you go with a friend and split the cost so if you see them running that deal - run, don’t walk!!!
July 16 · Patrick ZajacThese are the Zaatra Fries, they’re warm and fresh. I would definitely recommend these for anyone looking for a quick and yummy snack! Everything in this place is amazing, it’s filling and affordable considering the portions that are typically offered. I would recommend!
May 16 · Suelen cDelicious food, kind staff, clean environment and great portion size! I got the student deal and got a pretty big bowl, a pita bread on the side and a drink all for $10. Tastes delicious too and the mint lemonade is soo good. (Forgot to take a pic before eating)
