In the competitive downtown Houston food scene, why should you make the effort to seek out BopZip?
The customer reviews offer the best insight. The praise for the Bibimbap—which one reviewer called "so yummy!"—is a strong indicator of the food's quality. Another reviewer, a business traveler, was so impressed with the "taste, quality, and portion size" that they returned for lunch several days in a row and even brought friends along, who were equally satisfied. This level of consistent quality and customer satisfaction is hard to find.
The affordability is also a significant factor. In a city where dining can be expensive, BopZip stands out for its reasonable prices. The review mentioning "Water $1 and Soda $2?" highlights how the restaurant keeps costs down, which is a major benefit for regular customers. This commitment to value is paired with excellent, friendly service, creating a truly positive experience. The fact that customers "happily left a tip" even when it wasn't on the receipt speaks volumes about the warmth and excellent service provided by the Korean owner and staff.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I was craving for Korean food and was happy to see a new Korean spot at the Allen Center. Gotta be honest though, unless you work here, you prob wouldnt know there is a food tunnel downstairs.Once you come downstairs, the BopZip is on the other side between leaf and grain and chick fil a.Menu is pretty limited, only to choose from a couple but they are everyone's favorite and it's perfect healthy and delicious lunch.Despite what other had mentioned on the reviews, I thought the price was reasonable and the portions were good. Water $1 and Soda $2? That's average.I got the bibimbap and it was so yummy! Wish they gave you more spicy sauce but I still enjoyed it a lot! Will be back! Friendly customer service.
April 11 · Claire BearDuring my recent business trip to downtown Houston, I had lunch at this place several days in a row. The Korean owner and staff were very welcoming, which I found heartwarming. Despite the low prices, I was impressed by the taste, quality, and portion size of the food. Although they didn't include a tip on the receipt, I happily left one in the tip jar as a token of appreciation for their excellent service. Four friends I brought along the next day were also satisfied with both the taste and affordability of the food!Strongly Recommend!
March 18 · Miseong KimI was excited to try out Bopzip and had the chance to go today. While the service was quick and efficient, unfortunately, I was left wanting for more in regards to the food. I had initially planned to get the Korean fried chicken special, which was sold out by the time I arrived around 12:45. I pivoted and ended up getting the vegetarian rice dish. The dish comprised of a scoop of white rice, a fried egg, and a very minimal amount of vegetables with only a little flavor from what I believe was soy sauce. I anticipated something more of a veggie bibimbap dish but that was far from what I received. The very small portion of veggies meant I ate basically rice for lunch, which was not the satisfying meal I had hoped for. It looked like the meat portions were larger in the other dishes offered so those may be better to try, but I'd avoid the veggie option.
January 15 · Andrew HightaianHave been going to BobZip for a while now and have been meaning to write a review. I have always been very satisfied with the portion sizes and the food. At this point I have pretty much had at least all of the permanent menu items and tried the daily specials at least once, all of which were really good! The staff is always friendly and going to get my food from them is typically a highlight of any workday. This is a gem of the Allen Center food court.
September 11 · Alex LeThis has got to be my new favorite spot! Every time I come down to the tunnels, I find myself coming here every single time. Marzi and her team are extremely friendly and makes you feel welcomed from the time you look at the menu, to after you pay for your meal. Along with the warm and sweet staff, the food here are all affordable, delicious and very well seasoned! No matter what kind of day you are having, Marzi and her team will be sure to make your day feel even better with the great customer service and food quality.
