When visiting Capizzi, the menu offers a wealth of incredible choices, but some items are absolute must-tries for the full experience. The signature "Wood Fired Pizza" is the main event. A fantastic choice for a classic taste is the "Pizza Margherita," which showcases the simple perfection of San Marzano tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, and a beautiful crust. For those who enjoy a bit of a kick, the "Hot Honey Pepperoni" comes highly recommended by customers, with its combination of thick-cut pepperoni and a drizzle of spicy honey. Another popular option for a taste of the house specialties is the "Prosciutto & Arugula Pizza," praised for its fresh and savory toppings.
Don't limit yourself to just pizza, however. The "Homemade Appetizers & Salads" menu offers excellent starters. The "Fried Artichoke Hearts" served with a homemade pesto are a great way to begin your meal, and the "Burrata Salad" is a rich and decadent choice. For dessert, the "Tiramisu" is described as "perfectly sweet and bitter," a classic and satisfying end to an Italian feast. The "Oreo Truffle Cannoli" is a modern twist on a traditional favorite and is also a popular choice. The beverage menu includes a great selection of beer and a "great wine list," providing the perfect pairing for any dish. The ability to purchase their own Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a nice touch, allowing you to bring home a high-quality product that reflects the restaurant's dedication to authentic ingredients.
While a few reviews note the occasional soggy crust on a loaded pizza, the overwhelming sentiment from customers is positive. They praise the quality of the ingredients, the balanced flavors, and the overall enjoyable dining experience. The value of the meal is also noted, as the pizzas are large enough to be shared or enjoyed as a full meal for one. Capizzi is a place that promises an authentic and delicious meal in a charming environment, making it a truly worthwhile choice for any New Yorker or visitor seeking a taste of Italy.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I was visiting New York and one of the few foods on my bucket list was good, Neapolitan pizza. This place did not disappoint! My favorite was the hot honey pepperoni - the roni was freshly sliced and thick. I also really enjoyed the prosciutto and arugula. Aside from the food, the service was great, and the vibe was perfect: polished, calm, warm, and comfy. I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting authentic Neopolitan pizza in the Hell’s Kitchen area.
August 23 · Kymble JohnsonHad lunch here before a Broadway show and it was a great choice! The place feels like a little escape to Italy. Calm, cozy, and friendly staff. The pizza was light and flavorful, with toppings like mushrooms and onions that made each bite different. Very delicious! We ended up staying for dessert too. Tiramisu was perfectly sweet and bitter. Loved it! We will definitely be back to this hidden gem.
July 03 · Mayu MOne of the best pizzas I have had in the states. It looks so vibrant and fresh plus you have the best manager and staff. They have the old fashioned way of making the pizza which looks fascinating and tastes amazing. No post eating complaint and it hits your stomach well. There were vegetarian options and they can customise some of the items.Loved the ambiance and the service. We had a Margherita and one of their classics with peppers, mushrooms & onions. You pay for the experience so no complaints
May 12 · Shivendra RaiFun place we found randomly one night and luckily they had an open table. Place has less than 10 tables. Service was friendly and efficient and we enjoyed our pizzas. We ordered the burrata appetizer and it was very good, but it was similar to our pizzas, so we probably wouldnt order again.
July 06 · Luke AdamsI did some research back home in Minnesota before coming, and Capizzi totally exceeded my expectations. Hands down the best pizza we’ve had everything tasted incredibly fresh, came out fast, and was super satisfying. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients. It made for a perfect date night with its cozy, dimly lit, lowkey vibe. I’m already planning to come back next time I’m in NYC. Highly recommend!
