Salad is complementary comes with the rice, wow! The salad is so good to me as an Asian. Strongly recommend whether you are tourist or local.
May 25 · Pine PineappleWe had a wonderful family dinner at Caravan Uyghur Cuisine in New York! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with beautiful cultural décor and traditional music that added to the experience. Our server Ebubekir was incredibly kind, attentive, and made us feel right at home.We ordered the stir-fried noodles and polo plate — both were absolutely delicious and full of flavor.Highly recommended for anyone looking to try authentic Uyghur cuisine in a cozy and friendly setting!
July 27 · Feyzullah 35The experience was not good at all.I ordered grilled lamb, lamb noodles, and yogurt. After waiting for very long time, the waiter came telling me they had sold out the grilled lamb. I then ordered the braised lamb. It turns out both dishes could not meet expectations. They were just too salty and lacking in the natural flavor of meat. The service was such a mess. We found the items on the receipt were not ours at all. The waiter was so careless.
June 14 · KKWe ordered a few items. Wait time is ridiculously long (20mins even for the yogurt dessert) considering there are only 3 tables of guests in there. They told me the Braised lamb over naan is a big dish. But it turns out there are only a few small pieces of naan slice( yes, it's not even a whole naan), with two pieces of lamb meat and about 10 lamb bones. I complained to the waiter and he explained that's the traditional dish and it is what it is( So their tradition is to eat bones?). Check the picture I attached, I swear that's how it is before I ate it. Also, the lamb puff pie and pilaf were already all sold out at 6:30pm. I'm not sure why they don't just make some more.
July 02 · Li MilesCame for a cooking class! This was a really cool experience we were in the kitchen cooking with the family.Highly recommend for an interactive experience
