★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Cielito is my favorite spot in Houston, the original location, and now the newest one.The cafe is extremely cozy, and I love the small touches of decor each location offers. All the menu items are delicious and reasonably priced. The staff is always friendly and accommodating, especially when we sit outside on the patio when we have our pup with us.Highly recommended stopping in
June 11 · AikoI love this place food and service are beyond excellent. Fast and delicious!! The servers are really nice and offer you the best of the menu! Y’all need to come here keep in mind is a small place so if you are in a rush you have been warned! This place is so good so you might encounter a wait time to be seated on a Saturday morning but your food come out pretty fast so nothing to worry about. I have been here twice and both times the food has been 1000/10 🥰 I love them!!
February 28 · Skarleth RicoThe food is alright but not worth the price. We had a party of 8 people and at first we had a very small table. We had to ask for a bigger table and at 1st they didn't want to do it. They should have noticed us cramped up in the corner uncomfortable. They need better communication with the menu items. The salad with chicken was terrible. The chicken came out shredded in gravy. They do not have ranch dressing either. My friend sat there in disbelief she ordered this monstrosity of a salad. The chicken and waffles was the best entree that came to our table. The flautas were super crispy and stacked like Jenga pieces underneath a plethora of cabbage, jalapeños and raddishes. It's looked super fancy but they need more chicken inside them. Mine was hollow on one of them. The other meals ordered was some chips and dip which the waitress took away the plate with the 4 sauces which were not finished yet and didn't bring us chips the way normal restaurants do. They were very packed which makes it rather uncomfortable. The parking was crazy because we parked on the street and walked a block up to get there. And the parking lot across the street was completely full. I had a Tres Leches cake as my dessert and that was delicious and a beautiful presentation. I also had coffee which I had to keep looking for a refill. The waitress was not very attentive with refills or asking if we needed anything. If you are looking at the other reviews I'm not sure who is giving them 5 stars back to back but this is not a 5 star restaurant. Elbow to elbow dinning, cramped atmosphere, over priced plates and forced gratuity. This isn't Miami I'm not sure why they force 18% on the customer when she did a %10 job. They need to allow the customer to determine the tip in which the service deserves. I wouldnt have tipped her that much especially for taking my sauces away from the table early like that. In all we spent about $200+ for brunch and I was disappointed. Tiktok hyped this place up and it's not all that at all. My best friend didn't enjoy it at all even though her kids liked their meals. The rice milk wasn't that good either that's what the girl who ordered it said. I would recommend coming 1 deep first before taking any other soul here to see if this is even what you want to do with your money and time. I do reviews from Houston to Miami and this give the Miami vibes. They have the indoor and outdoor seating area with umbrellas & a patio. And indoor they have a bar you can sit at to eat. The food appears to have a very authentic presentation but lacks lots of flavor in areas of sweetness or saltiness. The chicken inside the flautas needed seasoning plus more meat. The black beans were very good. That is what saved my friend because that's all she ate while there. I wouldnt come back here even if someone else paid for it but I still gave them 3 stars. It's OK only.
May 03 · Lupe GarciaWow!!! I just love this place. Delicious, nice, comfortable and very welcoming environment. Can't wait for our next visit.
June 30 · OscarsGo ! The corn tortillas and black bean refrijolitos are a great combination. The taste from my childhood when us kids loved to make these at the table in a San Antonio restaurant.
