The result is a menu that is both familiar and surprising, earning it a devoted following and a reputation as a must-visit destination. This article will provide an in-depth look at what makes Cosme a celebrated part of New York City's dining scene, covering its prime location, its unique service model, and the standout features that have earned it international acclaim. Signature items like the Duck Carnitas and the iconic Corn Husk Meringue have become legendary, drawing diners from all over the world. The beverage program is just as thoughtfully curated, focusing on artisanal spirits and high-quality ingredients to complement the cuisine. Cosme is a place where every detail is considered, from the handcrafted heirloom corn tortillas to the sophisticated cocktails. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Fancy place. Did not quite understood their food concept but was very well served. The duck texture was very soft and it was something very different from my usual dinings. Giving a five star cause of this new experience in a Mexican food. Asian fusion? The Cone Cream Meringue was also different!
August 20 · B LEEThe guacamole was very good (if you like spicy), as was the corn appetizer. The scallops were also very good. We felt the steak could be more tender, and more flavorful. Overall good, but not great.
August 20 · CJ RedfernWow! Always a pleasure to come here. We celebrated our wedding anniversary with our daughter and got the special (tomahawk steak) and the duck. What word is better than excellent! Our server and staff were on point and friendly, and the food came out at the right pace and just delicious. We also shared the salad and guacamole, both light and tasty, to start as appetizers. After eating the entrees, we were full. My only criticism is the lighting. Although we sat at a table with a spot light on part of the table, just be aware that it is dim lighting. Fortunately, I sat at the right spot to see everything.
July 01 · Kim CaplanCame here as a group of 7 for dinner. We were greeted warmly by the staff and seated right away upon entry to the back room. The server was very knowledgeable and offered us her recommendation for the right amount of food for the group. The scallops were the highlight of all the dishes we tried. The mushrooms they had for one of the dishes were so unique and tasteful. The duck was cooked to perfection and made for some amazing tacos. The non-alcoholic drinks were top notch for a boiling hot summer day especially the horchata with just the right amount of spice. The ambiance of the place was perfect being in the back room but upon entry to the main dining room around 7/8pm it got very loud to keep in mind.
July 02 · Ewa ZaniewskiOutstanding experience for our group of 4. Luckily, we were wise enough to order two portions of the Pastor Prawns to share because they were so delicious, everyone wanted seconds. Most dishes come with tortillas, which makes it easy to share and taste multiple dishes. Mezcal, wine and non-alcoholic cocktail selections were wonderful. We ordered the StripSteak and Duck Carnitas to share which was a wonderful anchor to our meal. Service was very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend and definitely come back.
