★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Dea Burek is a lovely spot, and it’s especially nice to have the option to sit outdoors in the warmer months. The burek is made fresh—straight out of the oven—and you can truly taste the difference. We had the meat slice and absolutely loved it. We also brought home some cheese burek, and it was a huge hit with the family. Easily one of the best bureks I’ve had in New York.
June 08 · Gizem NacirThe burek is good overall but too much black pepper for my taste, I didn’t feel comfortable feeding my kid with it.I will definitely give it another try for different pies. It looks very clean and the staff was very friendly
July 22 · Ariana BasholliBest burek I have had in the US, and even better than some I have had in the Balkan countries. My family had cheese, spinach, and meat filled. They all had adequate fillings and were not greasy. Not burned, and cooked just right. The service was very good as well. Would love to get more if I lived closer, but it was a stop driving near the Bronx and well worth it.I thank the business for providing a quality product.
February 16 · JohnBest burek in all of NYC hands down. I can never really find pita and burek with cabbage , leek, or pumpkin, but Dea has all of them.Perfectly crispy, flaky, not greasy, full of ingredients, and made with love, this food brings me back to my grandmother’s cooking from my childhood.Dea Burek is always an essential stop when I’m in the Bronx. 🇦🇱🇽🇰
August 23 · Adem HadrovicI’m not afraid to say it: the cabbage burek was the best bite of food we had on our Arthur Ave journey. Do not sleep on the Albanian food on Arthur Ave!!! Run don’t walk to Dea Burek and definitely try the cabbage - so flakey, crunchy on the outside soft on the side, savory, and just a little bit sweet.
