★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Checked out Drips on a Wednesday evening for happy hour which lasts all day. I loved the space. It’s small inside, but gives upscale vibes. They have a mix of high chair and regular seating. They were playing RnB hits all night which was great when the drinks kicked in. Everything for happy hour is approximately $6-$8 so I tried the Sweet Chili wings and passionfruit lemon drop. The wings were crispy and fresh! This was my first time having a lemon drop and the flavor was delicious. I also tried the Mango Lemon drop too. I would recommend either! Service isn’t speedy, but it is not terrible. You have good music, great ambiance and drinks.
August 22 · Ayana Austin-DepaySuch a vibe! I had an amazing time at Drip. The energy, the food, the drinks, the service… everything was on point! The atmosphere was cute, cozy, and welcoming, and the staff was so friendly and attentive. My server Tracy was great and Barry was nice as well! I believe the bartender’s name was Kendeisha and she was cool too! The vibe was a perfect mix of chill and lively. The food? Chef’s kiss. I tried the fried calamari, honey garlic wings, curry lobster, oxtail, Rasta pasta, jerk fried rice with both steak and chicken, sweet plantains, and the red velvet cake. I can’t say what was my favorite because everything was DELICIOUS and full of flavor!
July 01 · BeneyshaThis spot in the Bronx is serving some delicious Jamaican cuisines. They also make some stellar cocktails. The staff was friendly and inviting. It was a mellow vibe and they played some good music 🎶
July 27 · Paul VelazquezMy first time at this restaurant and I have to say I am completely satisfied. The service was immaculate. The food was beyond delicious and the atmosphere is simply beautiful dark and intimate. The drinks were top notch. My friends and I had the sorrel mule, a rum punch and uptown Paradise. I’ve also tried the Montego Bay which was my least favorite. For the appetizers, we had the pineapple wings, jerk quesadillas, and the stuffed plantains with Aki and selfish . As for the food, we had the Rasta pasta, the oxtails with rice and peas plus the jerk fried rice with shrimp, let me not forget the mac & cheese. I’m definitely coming back again because the menu is filled with wonderful options.
July 20 · Nicole DeVeauxVery easy to find on Baychester Ave at the intersection of White Plains Road, situated next to the post office. Depending on the time of day, parking could be tough. There is a lot behind the restaurant but it isn't well lit at night. The restaurant itself is small and very tight...the tables are close. Make sure your phone is charged because they have a QR code menu. I went on a Saturday night. It was packed. The bar was crowded. Every table was taken. There was a live DJ who was fierce! The servers are pleasant and make the best of having to squeeze between tables to get the job done. The food is good. It's darn good! Go earlier in the day if you can to avoid the dinner crowd and enjoy your meal. My only suggestion is that the tacos need some sort of sauce, but everything else was on point! The drinks are strong. The bartenders don't skimp on the liquor. This little spot is a well kept secret. Get to it before other folks find out about it. The gratuity is added to the bill, so be sure to make note of that.
