★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Your basic old school New York Italian restaurant.Food was great, especially the lasagna (a special). Not as many traditional choices as I would have thought.Service was good, but a bit too eager to snatch plates and never brought more bread, even though we asked.
August 26 · HawkeyeThe food was solid, but the experience was ruined by their lack of transparency. We were shocked to find out we were charged $30 per glass of prosecco, with no mention of the price on any menu. When we asked twice to see a wine list for by-the-glass options, they refused to provide one. Our four glasses totaled a shocking $120, which was more than any Prosecco bottle (and some of the champagne) on their list. We felt completely misled, and it left a bad taste in our mouths. We live in the neighborhood, were excited to try it, and honestly will never go back or recommend to anyone. There are so many truly delightful Italian options in the neighborhood — eat at any one of them!
August 16 · Andre-Luc BissonEverything was perfect. Most delicious Italian food I’ve had in a long time. The service was stellar, pleasant banter and although it was a packed house they never rushed us. Had a delicious chilled cosmo, crispy warm soft bread, mozzarella that melted in my mouth and the special cream rigatoni with peas and ham. My friend loved the Chicken Parm. Hope to be back soon. Outside seating too but inside is so fun.
March 22 · Deborah LynneWow. Phenomenal. First time dining there but it felt like we were family. A fantastic atmosphere with great service and a beautiful setting. And the food was exceptional!!! I had the ravioli which was one of the best I’ve ever had, the sauce was delicious and they weren’t over filled, perfect balance. My boyfriend had a chicken dish with rosemary garlic and white wine sauce which stole the show. We’ve never had anything like it. AMAZING. Great dinner spot, great drinks and exceptional service. Make a reservation to ensure you get a seat as the place was full shortly after opening at 5pm for obvious reasons. DEFINITELY coming back here.
April 21 · Christine KevillyThe food was good but do not leave your umbrella at the front. I had a good meal but losing your belongings at the end ruined the mood for the entire night for me.This restaurant's system for checking your belongings is lackluster, and the waiter was not sympathetic at all, instead choosing to joke that he liked to call the restaurant's umbrella bin the "black hole of umbrellas." Overall the ambiance was also pretty crowded and loud.Yes I am just salty about losing my nice umbrella. I would give the food a 4/5 and would echo others in saying that the service was a 1/5.For food I would recommend the broccolini, soft shell crab, and chicken parm.
