★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We had a great time at Gayle Rose Broadway. The food was delicious and huge portions if pricey (to be expected in NY I guess). We were sat by the windows rather than the main dining area but the performers still came past and to our table. Special shout out to Petralina our singing waitress who was fabulous and couldn't have done more for us. We were made to feel welcome from the outset, great vibe and experience!
August 08 · Sherrill DuberryOur servers were extremely nice people and beautiful performers. From the minute we walked in it was a fun and welcoming experience. Our food came out very quickly and everyone loved their meals. I got the grain bowl with tofu (vegetarian here) and it was much better than expected. They had a great selection of vegetarian dishes! We enjoyed their mocktails and they treated us by singing “Happy Birthday” in a harmonious quartet with ice cream and delicious warm cookies for the birthday girl in our group. They really went above and beyond to connect with us and make us feel good. I highly recommend this place, especially if you want to get in the Broadway mood and indulge in some of New York’s better food.
June 16 · Sophie ElizabethI wish I could give this place a higher rating. I probably would have if we were seated in the main dining room. Our food was tasty, the service was prompt, and the performers were very talented. However...We made a reservation well in advance, and were given notice that a reservation did not necessarily mean dining room seating. Understandable, but we were also told that performance would occur "throughout the space". We were seated far away from the main dining room, near the windows past the bar, and saw the performers for maybe 30 seconds every other song as they passed through their way back to the dining room. We could hear them sure, but it would've been nice to be able to see a more of the performance (our view was blocked by the bar). It seems like they mainly cater to larger groups with their main dining space.Gayle herself came around at one point with a hat for tip collections for the performers, which felt awkward. I don't love being solicited while I'm in the middle of eating my dinner. Why not just have a tip jar on the way out or have an extra option on the check...?I sure hope the performers and servers are being paid well for how much the food cost. It wasn't bad food but it was overpriced. For the cost and experience I'll probably just go back to Ellen's Stardust next time I'm craving a similar dinner and show.
June 08 · Elizabeth TilleryBroadway lovers, this one's for you! fWe were lucky enough to experience the magic of Gayle's Broadway Rose on our recent trip to NYC-andWOW, what a night! From the moment we walked in (yes-with a reservation and no long line!), we were welcomed with delicious food, fabulous drinks, and non-stop performances by the crazy talented singing servers.Seriously, they belted out Broadway hits every few minutes and made sure the whole room was part of the show! Our server was not only amazing at their job but also had a voice that could easily be on stage. And yes, Gayle herself stopped by our table to check in-how sweet is that?If you're heading to New York and love show tunes, great vibes, and the best carrot cake ever... put Gayle's Broadway Rose at the top of your list.
April 09 · Mike and Ashley GrinerLove Broadway? Love good food? This is a must visit! The seats are close, but the entertainment is even closer! Get some yummy American food and cocktails while enjoying a fabulous show! Great and talented staff! So glad we found this gem!Definitely make a reservation beforehand, if possible. You should walk right in! We went on a Thursday night, in late May.
