★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My frustration with finding affordable and friendly places to eat in the Midtown area of Manhattan has possibly reached its end with Harley’s Smokeshack. I have long been a huge mark for wings, hence my main inspiration to go there in the first place. You’ll get wings (or whichever lunch special item you prefer), fries, and a choice of soup, soda, or a few standard beers for around $10. Other than maybe Steak and Shake, it’s hard to come by that good of a deal almost anywhere in the city; but especially with this type of quality. High recommendation.
July 13 · chuck fake last nameThree words -- Five Dollar Margaritas! Every New Yorker knows that Midtown is the WORST place to try to find something affordable, delicious, and not packed with tourists, but Harley's is the rare exception to that rule. When I go with co-workers for the happy hour special, we usually chase the margaritas with Fried Green Tomatoes and Texas Lollipop Skewers. The brunch menu is also not to be missed. The smoked salmon hash is to die for, with the Louisiana French Toast coming in a very close second, and brunch drinks are only $2.50 each!
July 31 · carina finnHarley's Smokeshack is one of my favorite places to visit when I come to NYC! On top of the top notch food they serve, they also keep a customer well entertained with the music and vibe. You feel right at home, upon entering Harley's Smokeshack. They provide exceptional customer service, and make you want to come back for more without a doubt. They remain unique because of their BBQ style. You could never go wrong with Harley's! The staff is very warm hearted, kind and extremely professional. They are also polite and easy going, which helps with the positive experience I guarantee you will have at Harley's Smokeshack. The ribs and smoked wings here are to die for. Harley's Smokeshack also conveniently provides a cell phone charging station for cell phones just in case. With Harley's Smokeshack, you can never go wrong !!
June 19 · Vee MechelleTwo words: $5 margaritas (or is it three? Haha). I came here on a Friday night with a friend. As anyone who lives in NY knows, it's really difficult finding a relatively inexpensive dining experience in midtown - especially near Times Square. The margaritas are amazing, and the $3 beers can't be beat. The waitress was super friendly, and I ordered the cheese quesadilla and the apple salad (I know, a strange combination). It was a bit crowded, but had a roomy feel to it at the same time. The crowd was more low-key than the other places I've been to. Will most likely come again.PS: the Harlem location is great, too!
August 17 · J. WynonaI came here after work one Thursday with a friend and was lured in by their awesome happy hour specials-- I always love $5 margaritas. It's a great spot in midtown west, a neighborhood with a dearth of affordable, good restaurants. My friend got the huge rack of ribs and I got the cajun pork po boy which was super spicy and crispy. Mac and cheese was great and I'll definitely be back for after-work drinks and wings.
