★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Not much of a reviewer. And as a Korean-American, I don’t usually expect Korean fast casual to be all that good. I’d say this spot is as good as fast casual could be. Having something like 15 banchan to choose from (including things like burdock or bellflower root) was a surprise at a fast casual spot, usually it’s just a couple choices like Napa cabbage or daikon kimchi. The lunch box came with a surprising amount of food for the price. No doubt it’s not the same as a full service or KBBQ restaurant, but it’s really good for fast casual.
April 20 · Doc NoeFrom the moment we walked into koba, we knew we were in for something special. The warm, inviting atmosphere paired with the delicious aroma of sizzling meats and savory spices set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.Service was impeccable! The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, taking the time to explain dishes and recommend the best combinations. Their passion for Korean cuisine truly shined through.Whether you’re a fan of Korean food or trying it for the first time, this place is a must-visit. Amazing flavors, top-notch service, and an authentic experience that will have you coming back for more. 10/10 highly recommend!
February 17 · Isaac ClewlowHonestly, surprisingly great fast-casual Korean food. I'm generally a little skeptical but this is definitely a lucky gem to have in FiDi. The gimbap/kimbap is made well (and yes! gotta have that brush of sesame oil+sesame seeds on top), and wow the japchae is better than most fast-casual places in KTown :-O. They do a great job with proportions of protein+veggies to the sweet potato noodles!!Depending on my mood, I'll do the gimbap+appetizer portion of japchae so I can have both, otherwise a regular portion of japchae is when I'm going hard, hahaha. Again, real glad to have this downtown!
April 12 · Kimberly LeeFood was out of the ordinary with flavor, robust, and authenticity! The create your own bowl was unique and filling. The portions are large and can last for more than 1 meal. We got the pork belly and chicken, both very good! The major turn off was that the waiter used gloves to set aside the portions in the bowl (which was great!) although proceeded to wipe the sweat off of his face, then tie his shoe, and then go RIGHT BACK to preparing my meal, GROSS!
August 12 · Syd Ball WiniBeen a regular here since the day they opened and have never ever been disappointed! They have consistently maintained their quality and taste. Also, the staff has always been very cheerful and patient even at busy hours.Kimchi Fried Rice is my absolute favourite!
