Other standout options include the Popcorn Chicken, Purple Sweet Potato Fries, and the ever-popular Agedashi Tofu. These smaller plates are perfect for sharing and getting a taste of the diverse menu.
Of course, the main event is the ramen. Kyuramen offers a variety of signature broths and preparations to suit every palate. The rich and savory Tokyo Tonkotsu Shouyu Ramen and the classic Kyushu Tonkotsu Shio Ramen are excellent choices for a traditional experience. If you’re feeling adventurous, the Mega Ramen, packed with pork and shrimp, is a hearty option. For those who love a little spice, the Korean Kimchi Ramen and the Spicy Kyushu Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen deliver a flavorful kick. They also cater to different dietary preferences with their Vegetable Ramen and Chicken Ramen, ensuring everyone can find something they love.
Beyond ramen, Kyuramen has a few other specialties that are worth exploring. The Kyuburger series features unique rice burgers, a creative twist on a classic. Options like the Crispy Fried Chicken Rice Burger and the Pork Belly Rice Burger are a must-try. For something truly unique, the Omurice combos, such as the Classic Japanese Omurice or the Pork Tonkatsu Omurice, offer a dish that is both visually appealing and incredibly satisfying. The soft, pillowy egg wrapped around seasoned rice is a comfort food masterpiece.
To complement your meal, Kyuramen offers a wide selection of beverages, including a curated list of sakes, beers, and cocktails. Whether you’re a connoisseur of Japanese sake or just looking for a refreshing drink, their selection includes well-known brands like Dassai and sparkling options like the Ikezo Jelly Sakes. This thoughtful beverage menu enhances the overall dining experience, allowing you to pair the perfect drink with your meal.
The dessert menu at Kyuramen is a sweet end to any meal. Their Matcha Crepe Cake and Mango Crepe Cake are light and delicate, perfect for a less-heavy finale. ---## What is Worth Choosing
Kyuramen in Times Square stands out for a number of reasons. The food is consistently praised for being both delicious and beautifully presented. Whether you’re craving a classic bowl of ramen with a rich broth or are curious to try their unique omurice, you won’t be disappointed. While the ramen portion might not be a "mega" size in some combos, the quality of the broth and ingredients is a highlight. The menu offers a fantastic exploration of Japanese cuisine, going beyond the typical ramen and sushi options found elsewhere. The addition of their Kyuburgers and Omurice dishes provides a delicious and distinct experience that you won't find at every ramen spot.
The atmosphere is another major draw. The "private" dining spaces, created by curtains around each table, offer a sense of intimacy and coziness that is a welcome contrast to the often loud and crowded New York City restaurant scene. The service is efficient and uses a modern push-button system, which, while sometimes requiring a moment's patience, ensures that help is on the way when you need it.

It offers a combination of great food, a unique and cozy atmosphere, and convenient services that make it a compelling choice for both tourists and locals alike. It's a place that delivers on its promise of delicious, authentic Japanese comfort food in a setting that feels both trendy and welcoming.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Loved the vibe here! The tables are set up like little private rooms with curtains—super cozy and very on-brand for a Japanese spot. Totally my kind of place! We were a group of seven—some of us just wanted coffee and dessert, but I came for the omurice, and it did not disappoint. Everything was tasty and beautifully presented. 🍜🍮Only downside? The trash bins are right near the entrance, which kinda messes with the first impression… and yeah, there was a bit of a smell 😬. BUT the food was so good that I honestly didn’t care. I’ll definitely be back, and I’d totally recommend it to anyone craving solid Japanese comfort food.
August 03 · nazanin vaziriRight on Restaurant row. Had early dinner before a show. Service is at the push of a button but only when there is someone in the receiving end. We had the signature Ramen but was a little dissapointed as the chasu and pork belly pieces were quite small. Broth was good and spicy. Had the pork bun as part of the combo but the pork was like jerky tough. Flavor was ok. Dessert was very good. They had other pretty good looking menu items like the omurice dishes so I may go back and try those.
April 23 · Gerry EWe ordered the combo set and it’s totally worth it, it comes with tonkotsu ramen, buns, Thai iced tea and matcha and red bean pudding, everything taste so great and the service was really fast too. This might be the best Kyu Ramen branch in the city.
April 11 · Su Su OoCozy, Affordable, and Totally Slurp-Worthy!Tucked away in a corner, this ramen spot is a hidden gem for noodle lovers on a budget. The first thing you’ll notice is the adorable ambiance warm lighting, minimalist Japanese decor, and tiny details that make the space feel welcoming and thoughtfully designed. The menu offers a nice variety of ramen options, all packed with flavor. The noodles have that perfect chewy texture, generously portioned. Best of all, the prices are super reasonable definitely a spot where you get more than what you pay for.Whether you’re grabbing a quick solo dinner or catching up with a friend, this place is a comforting, casual go-to. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy great ramen without breaking the bank
May 20 · johanna vazThis brand has a lot of promotion. I think the food is fine. Don’t understand why they can’t serve individual items without the combo: I just want water but had to purchase a lemonade. The service is quite poor, both the chef who serve food and the actual server, who was aggressively throwing wooden boxes.
