★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The food here is delicious!!! I love the play on sushi. They make sushi rolls out of cooked Dominican food and the flavor is perfect! You need to try it to understand. I had the Karol G roll and el ninja roll and really enjoyed it! The patacon sandwich is also a yummy gluten free option. They use plantains instead of bread for the sandwich. Highly recommend this cafe/restaurant!
July 24 · Nadia RodriguezCame by for a casual bite and a juice. Got the Citrus Zing (10/10, highly recommend!). The Portezuelo Roll did not disappoint! Perfectly filling and flavor in every bite. Also had the tres leche cake for dessert. Overall great atmosphere, clean, vibrant, and the staff is friendly. Will be back!
April 26 · Tanya GermainFirst time trying Dominican food, I was blown away by the vegetarian bowl I ordered - rice, beans, avocado, fried cheese, plantains. Everything tasted so fresh and flavorful, and the portions were generous. Also ordered a ginger green juice that tasted great and was well priced. The space is bright and welcoming, as are the staff. Will definitely be back!
August 09 · Alta RoseLove this place!Their yucca platelitos are so good. Fried fresh every time I’ve ordered. They also have some cool Dominican inspired ice cream flavors. They took a lot of time and care into creating this place, a unique Dominican food experience for sure.
June 20 · Nicole HDespite myself, and despite the fact that this place doesn’t offer mangu, I have to give them a perfect score. This is an absolute gem - amazing food, coffee, and straight up cheap - I can’t imagine that they’re turning a profit given their super high quality and super low prices. Food ranges in price from 7 to 15 dollars for proper, full lunches, including sushi rolls. The coffee is strikingly good, the Morir Soñando was creamy and perfect, and the owner is an absolute blessing. If they don’t have lines around the block, it’s because tourists and transplants don’t know good from unsalted avocado toast. Stop here, eat here, and tell your friendsI wish I could give them a 10
