★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Basic Italian (Roman) classic pizzas and pastas. Usually long waits, even with a reservation we waited 20 minutes to get seated. Having eaten a lot of Italian restaurants in Manhattan and in Italy, this place not really worth it. For the price you could get something better/more authentic. Pasta portion was generous though and the vibes were great. We love Eataly as a grocery store but the food doesn’t quite deliver here. Just okay.
May 18 · H LThis was my late sister’s favorite Italian restaurant in New York. We would visit every time I visited her. The house wine selection is fantastic and they always have some special. The sauces are amazingly fresh and tasty.

He was not only personable and attentive but also went out of his way to ensure my sister’s tree nut allergy was addressed with care. His attention to detail and genuine warmth made us feel truly valued. One highlight was when Raphael even fetched a Collins ice cube from another restaurant just to elevate my drink—now that’s service!The food was spectacular. The Italian-style pizza brought classic New York flavors to the table with its perfect crust and authentic taste. I thoroughly enjoyed my lasagna and calamari, while my niece loved her broccoli tagliatelle, and my sister raved about the tagliatelle Bolognese. Each dish was prepared with precision and quality ingredients, showcasing the restaurant’s dedication to great food.The atmosphere was another win. January 15 · Hyisheem Shabazz CalierI have never had a lasagna like this before. The sheets were so so soft and easily cut through while the ragu was meaty and filled with flavor. I could tell this was fresh lasagna. The bolognese was also great and enough for one person. Definitely recommend the focaccia as this is Eately’s specialty for sure! Ambience was very high end, definitely felt more upscale, very nice. Service could have been better, we only saw our server once after we got our food and wished we could have had a bit more attention since I needed a napkin and water refills. But I will say, this is 5th avenue on a Thursday at dinner time so it was pretty busy. In general, Eately is very busy so truly do come here to expect great food with limited attention from staff. Otherwise, we would come back again for that lasagna and to try other dishes!
April 16 · Isabel CastroPeople have strong opinions about the food at eataly. Personally I think it’s pretty good. Does it feel a little touristy? Sure. But if you took each restaurant and put them somewhere else it would likely be viewed positively. When I am at eataly I like to eat at one of the counter only spots because it’s fun and different and I like the market vibe. This spot is the bigger sit down at a table restaurants and usually the most busy. The pastas were good and that’s what I expect at early. Not the best but definitely not bad, and that’s what you get here. Verdict: no because if I happen to be there and want to eat I’ll do the counter pasta place where u watch them make fresh pasta in front of you.
