★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Came here for a treat because i was craving something sweet. I really wanted to try their lemon or pear tart but in the end, decided to go with the Strawberry Matcha Cookie. It wasn't anything special but I definitely enjoyed it— the strawberry and matcha flavor were present and the cookie itself was decently good.I love the atmosphere of the place and the worker was sweet. Though, I wish the cookie was plated cutely so I could take photos instead of the paper bag— but this isn't an issue. Will be coming back to try other sweets!I know there is a restaurant too but I think I'd pass based on the reviews I see here.
August 01 · Jen LWe were visiting NYC for a few days and decided to eat here because the food display was nice and looked delicious. I paid almost $35 for 1 Belgium waffle, 1 crookie (croissant with a cookie in one), 1 apple juice and 1 macchiato (and syrup). The Belgium waffle was small, was supposed to come with berries and cream, but it only came with berries and they charge you extra for the syrup. He removed it so I only paid $32😂 I got a baby cup of cappuccino instead of the large macchiato they charged me for. The people next to us were waiting for almost 1 hour for their food and apparently their food was cold. When I told the guy the waffle didn't come with cream he asked if I wanted to speak with his manager. He kind of wanted to argue with me. He was surprised when I asked for my exact change back and have no tip. Although I felt bad for the guy as he was the server, the bus boy, and the cashier, I am giving this review so the manager of that place can do a better job. I heard the other locations are much nicer, so it's definitely a manager thing with this location. Now get this, I paid $43 to eat dinner for 2 at a Hyatt Grand Central hotel restaurant. So to spend $32 for breakfast for such a little bit of meh food is ridiculous. The only thing good was the apple juice. My daughter said it was the best one she's ever had. The Australian couple next to us were nice too.
May 29 · The 9th GalFive stars for the stellar staff on the Saturday morning shift! Super pleasant experience. string recommendation for the oatmeal bowl! It was big and worth the price. The only weird thing is the coffee cup being a bowl, coffee cooled off too fast and it was hard to drink from.
July 12 · Katri CarneiroVery good food. And very good service. Dutch pancakes, avacado toast and other breakfast was very good.
June 08 · Iqbal NathaniThis cafe chain always has great food and coffee. Recommend grabbing something from here as it's always fresh and tasty.
