★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1It's a cool little joint. Vibes was good. Didn't get to eat this time. But been here before, and did enjoy the food when I had it. Love they Sally Breeze. And my bartender was on point with it. Had a good time.Came back here for my cousin dirty 30 brunch. After missing reservations for another place. May 01 · lovely ZeeHappened upon this gem with a friend after Pride! It’s been a while so don’t quote but the vibes, the crowd, and the music was amazing! I was loving the energy. The menu was a little overwhelming to me because I wanted something different but all my friends were having seafood. I chose Yassa Poisson Chicken and I made the best decision. It was straight fire! The flavor was out of control! I wanted to go right back but unfortunately not longer hung with those friends and couldn’t remember the name of the restaurant! I have since figured out the ingredients and taught myself how to make it but I will never forget what inspired me and the experience. I definitely recommend and need to go back!
October 26 · Queen JunoFood good...ambience good. Issues we had to wait to be seated no one to seat us, hire someone! Music change was horrid stick to the West African themes. Our host was good but overworked it seemed. Needed more than one and half pieces of chicken even if it was tasty.
June 13 · Michaelle FaThe collard greens were really good. The lamb curry and rice was so so good that i would eat here EVERY time i visit New York The staff was awesome, the prices was right, and the portions were large. The lamb Curry was season so well and had a great spice to it not too hot but just right so that I did not have to add any salt pepper hot sauce or anything to it it was perfect just as is with potatoes and carrots. The collard greens were season as well they were very good and tender not too soft but just the right crunch. The rice was still leafy not stuck together smushy or too hard. The lobster mac and cheese was great cheesy not overcooked or undercooked. The first time I went to this location it was very comfortable cozy just right. The second time I went to this location it was still real cozy except I think it was gumbo season because there was a seafood smell in the air. I will still chip choose this location the next time I go to New York from Dallas Texas.
October 13 · Angela DanielsRocky start!!! Took my aunt out for brunch family outing. Called on the phone earlier in the week for reservations was told I needed a 300 dollar deposit I declined. Arrived at location had to wait at the bar. Spoke to the manager only to be informed the deposit was only 100 I asked why he didn't offer me that over the phone now it was silence. I then waiting another 10 mins we was seated the service was great!!! Food was amazing the music was on point my entire party was happy I will be back again and shout out to Dj Knuckles for being one of the best in NYC
