★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1If you want the whole experience, you must try this place in NYC. The food is GREAT, one of the very best tacos I’ve ever had. The whole vibe of the store is worthy, the service was amazing so friendly, professional, and quick. We tried almost all the meat options on the menu and all are delicious. But the grilled chicken stands out the most. The hot salsa they use is very spicy so be careful! The prices seem expensive ($6 for one taco) but it is totally worth it. There’s always a line but it moves quickly so don’t hesitate to wait.
August 12 · Mohamed ChakkourBest tacos!! recommend the pulled pork but it’s a bit spicy. There is no seating and it’s pretty noisy but the food is very good and reasonably priced. 3 tacos for 18$ (tax included). Definitely recommend! It’s a chain restaurant
August 15 · Nancy JiaoI did not get disappointed!Had 15 min before the Harry Potter show started and decided to drop by Los Tacos across the street.Line moved fast, ordering and service were quick, and the tacos and quesadillas were very authentic. (We had both beef and chicken.) They felt very refreshing and not heavy at all. Got a bit of street vendor vibe at the restaurant due to the stand-up table configurations but my two kids - 14 and 12 years old - gave the thumbs up too!
July 02 · Jack HungStill one of the best Mexican tacos in the city.Los Tacos has been hailed as the best taco in the city for a long time, and I recently came here while the memory of Taquería Ramírez was still fresh. Funny enough, my first-ever taco was actually from Los Tacos No.1 at their Chelsea Market location almost a decade ago. Back then, it didn’t leave a huge impression, but I wanted to come back and see what I might’ve missed.Like TR, it’s CDMX-style with nixtamalized corn tortillas, but the overall vibe here leans more toward a classic Mexican street taco. The meats here pack more smokiness, while the tortillas at Ramirez still win for texture and flavor.Nothing I had here topped the tripa taco from TR, but both the Adobaba and Carne asada were excellent. While Adobaba and Al pastor are both marinated pork, it’s hard to compare them directly. But personally, I prefer adobada for its juicier texture and that smoky finish. Bonus points for the guac here too, which you won’t find at TR.I get why people are complaining about the price. Are the portions small for the price? Sure. But in a city where mediocre tacos cost just as much, this is still top-tier. If you want smoky, well-balanced flavors with good corn tortillas, the wait is worth it (line moves pretty fast, 15-20 minutes wait)
April 16 · Jea KimThe tacos here so STUFFED with meat! I usually get 3 tacos at least, but 2 tacos had my belly full! This place has a great salsa bar, and the tacos are really good! I recommend the carne asada. So glad we stopped by on our trip to NY.This place is standing room only with counter tops to eat off of. You might have to wait for a spot to open up, and eat, but people eat and go pretty quickly.
