Was in the area for lunch and decided to come to the UES location after trying the SoHo spot last week. Man, I was surprised because the ratio of the ingredients was better! The pizza was so good that I decided to get another slice. The pizza was perfectly crispy and the flavor was probably the best I’ve had in the past month of hitting 8 of the top classic nyc slices. Keep up the great work!

I thought the pizza was good. Full stop. There is a high bar in New York for pizza and what makes pizza great is the water, the (age of the) oven, and the ingredients. I think this place/oven is too new to really compete at a higher level. But the pizza was good.Place is small but people move in and out quickly.

The pizza is great!! Service is fast, there’s a few seats available but if you don’t find a place to seat there is a small park around the corner with a few benches where you can seat to eat your pizza.We had the Sicilian, the spicy pepperoni and the spinach; all were great but the Sicilian was the best!!

Probably the only pizza joint on the Upper East Side where the staff actually wear gloves. Such a simple detail, but it matters. Thanks to the thoughtful owner, I didn’t have to watch someone making my pizza with bare sweaty hands. If you care about hygiene and still want good pizza, this is the spot.

Look, it’s good pizza. High quality ingredients and excellent marbling on the crust. But for the prices they charge, there should be no reason to be asked to leave a tip when they don’t bring your order to you. Their red pepper flakes shaker has holes too narrow so you can hardly get anything out. Also, they should have a little sink to wash the grease and char off your hands after eating. These little details really elevate a place. They have no reason to be charging over $6 or even over $5 for a one topping slice. They’re much more expensive than places like John’s of bleecker for example, even on a full pie basis. The guy up from is cool but yeah, get rid of the tipping option if you’re not gonna bring people their order or offer an ability for people to wash their hands after eating greasy pizza.
