★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1A casual Mexican food restaurant. The guacamole is really great! The shrimp enchilada is quite good, although I asked if it could be made hot, and was just bland (I sought help from Valentina's sauce).Overall, nice for a snack on the way, nothing to change your route for.
August 22 · Dariusz Jemielniak (Pundit)The service was hands down perfect. I forget the lady’s name but she made it.It’s hard to find good margsritas in nyc. But these stand. You can taste the alcohol. Love the fresh fruit ones personally. Frozen or fresh I ordered both. The food we had was good too however thru salsa is bad. Served small and my biggest let peeve is they charge for chips. Thats so stupid when we r spending hundreds. If people order alcohol. They should get free chips. It would be 5 stars otherwise
May 15 · Jack TuggleFood was great, servers were very pleasant and friendly, we met the owner, PK, who sat down at our table after our dinner. Our conversation with PK out our visit over the top. This was my first visit to NY City and meeting PK and eating at his restaurant made the trip memorable. This place is a hidden gem. A must if you love Mexican food. We will definitely be back.
June 14 · David BartonMamasita Bar and Grill in NYC is a hidden gem! The food was absolutely delicious—from the flavorful tacos to the perfectly spiced enchiladas. Their margaritas were super refreshing, just what we needed to go with our meal. What truly stood out was the warm and accommodating service; both the staff and the owner made us feel so welcome. A must-visit spot for authentic Mexican food in the city!
June 09 · Nea BacolodI loved every moment of our visit here. This is a nice diamond in the rough spot. I wasn't sure what to expect when we arrived, but that quickly changed. The owner greeted us and was super attentive and courteous. The restaurant is small and when busy it can get a bit tight. However, typically, other patrons are understandable and helpful with letting others by.The drinks are AMAZING. We opted for the smaller sizes because we wanted to sample different flavors, so we did 3 margaritas each. Let me just say that the margaritas were poured with a heavy hand and were greatly appreciated. I made it home from the restaurant to the Northeast section of the BX and was still feeling my buzz heavily. So, yes, the drinks are worth the hype and price. The food was good and tasty, but I was a bit disappointed with the portion sizes. However, it's important to note that I wasn't still starving after eating, but for the prices, I expected a little more.Overall, my only downfall is that we hadn't visited this place sooner. I for sure know we will definitely be returning soon.
