What is worth choosing?
When you visit Marufuku Ramen, the main draw is, without a doubt, the ramen itself. The signature dish and the most popular choice is the Hakata Tonkotsu Ramen. This bowl features a rich, creamy, and flavorful pork-bone broth that is light yet deeply savory, topped with tender chashu pork, a seasoned egg, and other delicious garnishes. For those who enjoy a little heat, the Spicy Tantan Men is an excellent alternative, with its spicy kick and nutty flavor. Another standout is the Hakata Tonkotsu DX, which is a loaded version of the classic, piled high with extra toppings for a truly indulgent experience. For those who prefer a different protein, the Creamy Rich Chicken Paitan is a great choice, offering a lighter but still incredibly flavorful broth. The menu also includes a Vegetable Ramen with a veggie broth, ensuring there's a delicious option for everyone. Beyond the ramen, the small bites are also worth exploring. The Takoyaki (fried octopus balls) and Chicken Karaage (Japanese fried chicken) are popular appetizers that are perfect for sharing. The Gyoza are also a solid choice for a quick bite. The “Extra Noodle” (Kae-dama) option is a great feature that allows you to get more noodles to enjoy with any leftover broth, a true sign of a great ramen shop. The desserts, like the Mochi Ice, offer a sweet and refreshing end to the meal. Marufuku Ramen stands out not just for its food but also for its commitment to authenticity and its ability to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The price point is reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, offering excellent value. Ultimately, what is worth choosing at Marufuku Ramen is the chance to experience a truly authentic and expertly crafted bowl of Hakata-style ramen in a lively and comfortable setting. It’s a must-visit for any ramen lover in New York City.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The spicy tan ramen was really good. The Miripaka was also amazing . Arah was our server and she was great. Very helpful with her suggestions and very kind. Would highly recommend.
August 22 · Aprajita ParasharI really enjoyed the ramen here—it's a reliable, satisfying bowl that comes absolutely loaded with toppings. I had the hakata tonkatsu dx bowl of ramen that features a light, flavorful broth with hints of pork and corn that feels comforting without being too heavy. I also tried the gyoza, which were just okay, but the super refreshing side salad made up for it. The sweet soy dressing was something I'd come back to have again. The atmosphere is lively and fun, making it a spot I’d happily return to.
April 06 · carlos borgesWe stumbled into here late afternoon after our intended kitchen had already closed for dinner prep, and boy were we glad that we did. This is a hidden gem (I was surprised to learn it is a franchise) that has it all - fantastic Japanese-styled service, attractive pricing, and solid ramen. We had the Spicy Tantan ramen which was delicious and the right amount of heat - very much present but not overwhelming. The broth was delicious and took them up on the additional order of noodles. Menu is simple and straightforward. Their gyoza had me reminiscing about my long overdue Trader Joe’s shopping trip, but at $3 for 6 pieces during happy hour, I wasn’t disappointed. The main dining was populated by a good number of families - both visiting and locals alike. The entrance had a wonderful bar that looks into the kitchen and feels like a perfect spot if you were looking to dine alone and many were.If you are looking for a salve for a colder night or winter day that won’t break the bank, this checks all the boxes.
April 20 · KlentonSOO GOOD!! Our sever was amazing and it was super chill when we went. The ramen and all other food was super good and came out really fast. 10/10 recommend, a must try if you are in the area
April 27 · ClaudiaHad Tonkatsu DX Ramen (the XL version!) The broth was super tasty with lots of chashu pork and we had the $5 gyoza for happy hour (2-5 pm)This is one of the best ramen places in the East Village with a cool vibe.
