★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Came to try their Teishoku lunch set for $35, which comes with soup + salad. Their soup had a nice umami/mushroom flavor and the salad had these yummy parm crisps. We got the Roasted Chilean Seabass and Japanese Hamburg for our entrees. I really loved the Seabass! It was moist and the yuzu miso sauce paired perfectly. The Japanese Hamburg also paired nicely with the potato salad, which had the most refreshing Ikura that popped in your mouth! Their Teishoku portion is just enough for each person, with room to order an app or two to share. For apps, their Rock Shrimp Tempura is a MUST! It's a dish of bite-sized shrimps and each one is fried to perfection! Their Gyoza also had a beautiful, crispy skirt. We closed the meal out with their refreshing and delicious mocktails.Comfortable and nice interior with attentive staff. Quick walk from the A/C/E/1 trains at Canal St and near a good amount of corporate offices, for the perfect lunch or happy hour spot!
April 25 · Veronica LeongVery impressed with the sushi and food 👍 The Hokkaido uni was super fresh and the execution was top notch. The dinnerware is from Japan which makes it even more authentic. The sushi chef is really great. The service was a bit slow, but they even served us complimentary sake shots so it worked out very well :)
March 29 · Steve KI would give this place more stars if I could, honestly shocked it wasn’t packed because this has to be one of the best places sushi spots I’ve had in NYC. My husband and I sat at the chefs counter and had the chefs omakase. Every single thing that came out was so delicious, I was actually sad when our meal ended. The wagyu was the best wagyu I’ve ever had … I can go on and on about every dish. The staff from the host, servers to the chefs were so friendly and made our dining experience so enjoyable. I wish this place was open on Sunday because we wanted more (we went on Thursday) before heading back to DC. Can’t wait to come back to NYC and eat here again. Shout out Chef Markee, you did wonders! Thank you to the other chef as well for doing a mini fish show and tell.
August 14 · Nicola LedesmaMy friends and I had an amazing dinner. The three of us did the omakase course, and every single dish was beyond delicious. I especially loved the starters, but the uni and wagyu were definitely my favorites. The service was great, though the pacing could be improved—there was a bit of a delay between some of the sushi courses. Other than that, I’d definitely recommend this place!
June 26 · hyojin jooWe went to this place for a spontaneous date and boy it did not disappoint. In fact, we had a great time there. Staff were professional. Place looked rather new. One of better interiors in the city. Modern and clean looking. But the star of the show was the food! We ordered 4 bites and 1 dessert, all of which were DELICIOUS! The chicken karaage and the calamari were so crispy and you don’t smell the oil. It’s like they only use the oil once to deep fry it. Then the yellowtail and shrimp rolls were so fresh. You don’t smell the ‘sea’ at all. The ginger and wasabi were so fresh that we finished everything. We even forgot to take a photo of the chicken and shrimp roll because we were so captivated by the flavors, especially by the yellowtail scallion. Somehow the combination worked so well. Anyway, the dessert was also really good. Give this place a try. So so good.
