★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Stopped at the Hugh again to have a coffee and read the paper. At lunch we went to MOKBAR for Korean food. We got one bulgogi bowl and one cutlet curry bowl. Also got a side of kimchi. All very tasty over special rice. Rather small cutlet but enough for lunch. Prices are reasonable.
July 08 · THE EXPLORERDescent korean food, but not anything special. Small portions and really not mouch protein in them.As a tourist and big fan of Ester Choi:s cooking was this a disapointment.
August 18 · Anders ErikssonDelicious! I really enjoyed my salmon avocado bowl. The fish was cooked perfectly.I would not recommend the salmon for takeout because it was best fresh. The sauce was a little salty but they gave it to me on the side so I could put as little or as much as I wanted.Highly recommended!
March 12 · Deanna TranI highly recommend their classic Korean ramen! It had some of the most flavorful/tender pork I've ever had (life-changing fr) and the veggies were incredibly fresh/flavorful. Mokbar is a great spot for the colder months and you'll be happy to enjoy it in the gorgeous Hugh seating area!!
December 06 · Molly AOrdered a bibimbap with purple rice and pork belly and a strawberry yuzu homemade iced tea on 03/06/2025 12:29pm. Later at night I got chills, dehydration, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, and sweating…..it was bad…..I think this might be food poisoning. If you ordered stuff from this restaurant on 03/06/2025 and experience the similar symptoms, go file food poisoning complaint via NYC311.
