★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Solid takeout spot — no frills. Their rice boxes are protein heavy (not a lot of veg) and decent for what it is. Malatang is a little stronger — likely the best you can get in the area.Would give it a 4.5/5 for convenience and a 3.8/5 for taste/quality.
July 06 · David WangIt's one of the best Malatang places in the city. And all the other noodles and rice dishes are amazing as well! It's definitely the perfect place for a quick meal, to-go, or even spending time with friends. The service is amazing as well. I highly recommend it!
May 31 · Jinho HanIf you want a easy and tasty food go to "Mr. Liu Hot Pot", It's located in the food hall near the Columbus Circle. The plate with chicken was delicious, I was with my bf and we share a chicken plate. WAS SO GOOD! The service was good too, the gentleman asked if it was good, if we need anything else...the lemonade is spectacular! I highly recommend this place.
May 03 · Ana MontoyaThe beef malatang is amazing! The amount of beef was generous, and this is one of the only truly satisfying malatang broths I’ve had here in NYC. The variety of ingredients (vermicelli noodles, fuzhu/beancurd stick, cabbage, woodear mushroom) had all the ones I love too :)Also service was impeccable✨I was debating whether to buy from this stall and the owner’s greetings and introduction to the menus won me over. All in all I feel like it was a great meal— definitely worth it’s value!
April 15 · Faye HBI wandered around the Food Hall with no intentions and just an empty stomach and this stall caught my attention because they kindly waved me over to explain the menu - and I’m SO glad I tried it. I’m a big malatang fan and this was delicious - I tried a little of everything for just +$2 more than the price of one protein type and it was delicious, and thoughtfully prepared and packaged for me. I did take out, but it made me so happy that there were little tables in front of the shop to stay and eat too. The man was so friendly and took great care of me - I cannot wait to come back!
