★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Stayed at the Warwick for 2 nights and had breakfast one morning at Murals. It was absolutely delicious - had the egg white frittata and chicken sausage. Both were absolutely delicious. I kind of want to know where the chicken sausage comes from so I could get some myself. The waitstaff were very friendly and professional. The setting is beautiful with the murals on the wall. It was a bit expensive, but it was so delicious that it was worth it! Hope to come back!
August 09 · Kim BumgarnerMurals on 54 is an excellent spot that can satisfy both western and Asian food cravings at the same time. On the one hand, their Shaken Steak was true to its name and had an even and thorough sear that enveloped a delicious and tender medium rare interior. The Thit Bo Steak Frites also didn't take a back seat when dressed beautifully with the bone marrow butter. On the other hand, Murals on 54 offered more "traditional" dishes like their Saigon House Pho, Chicken Satay Skewers, and Spring Rolls. This culinary package, served in the historic Warwick Hotel, surrounded by beautiful murals is definitely an experience we would love to try againPhoto credit: @nyc_piggie (Instagram)
November 19 · Jay ChenBad food, in this restaurant. I pass this review because the food is more bad than paid, all frizz and bad taste, my co-workers and I had no more options or time, so we had to return to the kitchen to prepare our food well, that bad taste and bad preparation nobsr changed with nothing, I write it because it is wrong that you pay for high price food and it is so bad, I write it so that they improve if they want to stay open, it is one of those restaurants that have very very burn service from the staff who works there, but the food is terrible, I never recommend it. My partner saw her vomit all night the shrimp that the poor photographer ate :(
May 16 · Gloria PeloI’ve been coming to this hotel for over 20 years. I understand COVID upsets business but I was shocked to see the menu so drastically changed. In an ambiance beautifully reminding of the early 1900’s the choice to go oriental is a bad one in my opinion. The Buddha burger was good as were the fries and garlic broccoli, but that was the only item on the menu that appealed. Too bad. What a shame for such a beautiful place
February 16 · Denise NotermansNot recommended at all! The worst service i have ever had. The waitress was rude and disrespectful! I informed her my allergies specifically but was later recommended to have the satay chicken as starter which I could not have half of the ingredients in the marination.I ordered my drink and food but then 10 mins later was informed not available. So At the end, I was forced to have a beer as my dinner. What’s surprised me the most is I was ‘requested legally’ to pay 7 dollars for tips given the fact beer was only 9 dollars! When I asked for the printed bill, I was told the calculation was incorrect. The correct amount that I ‘should’ pay 15% legally required tips given the fact I didn’t even have dinner and almost got allergy reaction if I had not read menu thoroughly.. I suggested the management to train the staff not using the words like ‘legally’, ‘mandatory’. If I had not asked for bill, legally I need to pay 78% of bill as tips?
