NAYA Introduce
In the heart of bustling Midtown, NAYA has established itself as a premier destination for fresh and flavorful Middle Eastern cuisine. This popular spot, which has become a staple for locals and visitors alike, offers a modern and accessible take on traditional Lebanese and Middle Eastern food. Unlike a traditional sit-down restaurant, NAYA operates with a fast-casual model, allowing you to create your own meal from a wide array of delicious ingredients. This focus on customization, freshness, and speed makes it a perfect fit for the dynamic pace of New York City life.
The essence of NAYA is its "build-your-own" concept, reminiscent of a Mediterranean Chipotle. You begin with a base, add your choice of protein, and then pile on a variety of fresh, unlimited toppings. This interactive process not only ensures a meal tailored to your exact tastes but also makes dining at NAYA an engaging and fun experience. The atmosphere is casual and clean, with a focus on efficiency and quality. Whether you’re on a tight lunch break or looking for a healthy, satisfying dinner, NAYA provides a reliable and delicious option that is both a quick bite and a complete meal. It’s a place that proves that fast food can also be wholesome and flavorful.
---NAYA is conveniently located at 488 Madison Ave, New York, NY 10022, a prime spot in the heart of Midtown. The restaurant is situated on Madison Avenue, a block away from Saint Patrick's Cathedral and within close proximity to major landmarks, business centers, and transit hubs. This makes it an ideal spot for professionals working in the area, as well as tourists exploring the city.
The location is incredibly accessible via New York City’s public transportation. It is a short walk from the 53rd Street subway station, which serves the E and M lines, and the 59th Street subway station for the 4, 5, and 6 trains. For those who choose to drive, both free and paid street parking are available in the surrounding area, though finding a spot can be challenging during peak hours. The restaurant’s urban location also offers outdoor seating, a great option for enjoying a meal when the weather is nice. While specific accessibility details are not fully provided, the ground-level entrance and layout are designed for easy access.
---NAYA provides a range of services tailored to a fast-casual, urban environment. These services are designed for maximum convenience and flexibility:
- Service Options: The restaurant offers delivery, takeout, and dine-in options. The counter-service model allows for a quick and efficient pickup, while the option for delivery through third-party services ensures you can enjoy their food from the comfort of your home or office.
- Dining Options: NAYA serves both lunch and dinner, making it a popular choice for a satisfying midday meal or a quick evening bite. The counter service is the primary mode of ordering, allowing for fast customization and a quick turnaround time.

NAYA has several standout features that make it a favorite among its patrons. The focus on quality and customization is evident in every aspect of the dining experience:
- The "Build-Your-Own" Concept: The "NAYA Bowl," "NAYA Roll," and "NAYA Salad" are the core of the menu. This concept allows customers to choose from bases like vermicelli rice or quinoa, and a variety of proteins such as beef shawarma, chicken shawarma, falafel, or kafta lamb kebab. This level of customization ensures a unique and satisfying meal every time.
- Fresh and Healthy Ingredients: NAYA is praised for its healthy options and fresh ingredients. The unlimited toppings bar includes fresh vegetables, a variety of dips like hummus and baba ghannouj, and different sauces, allowing diners to create a meal that is both flavorful and nutritious. The dedication to quality is apparent, and there are many vegetarian and vegan options available.
- Standout Dishes and Toppings: A customer review specifically highlighted the quality of the beef shawarma, calling it "super tender and flavorful," and the kafta lamb kebab, which was described as "delicious" and "moist." The pistachio baklava and the warm feta bread are also noted as a "must-have."
- Fast and Efficient Service: As a fast-casual establishment, NAYA is known for its speed. Despite the step-by-step ordering process, the line moves quickly, making it a reliable choice for a quick lunch without a long wait.
NAYA is located at: 488 Madison Ave, New York, NY 10022, USA. For inquiries, you can reach them by phone at (212) 987-2222 or +1 212-987-2222. Given its popularity, ordering online for pickup can be a great way to save time during peak hours.
---What makes NAYA worth choosing is the combination of its fresh, high-quality ingredients, the endless customization options, and the sheer value for money. The NAYA Bowl, in particular, is the ultimate reason to visit. The ability to choose a base of vermicelli rice, add a flavorful protein like the incredibly tender beef shawarma or the delicious and moist kafta lamb kebab, and then load it with unlimited toppings is what truly sets this place apart. The fact that you can add everything from hummus, tahini, and feta cheese to fresh tomatoes and onions without an extra charge makes the $19 price point, as mentioned in a review, a fantastic value for a filling and satisfying meal.
Beyond the bowls and rolls, NAYA's appetizers and desserts are not to be missed. While some have had mixed experiences with the falafel, the beef shawarma and lamb kafta are consistently praised for their quality. The warm feta bread and the pistachio baklava are also highly recommended and serve as a perfect accompaniment or a sweet finish to your meal. The availability of fresh and unique dips, like Toum (garlic whip) and the spicy red pepper sauce, further enhances the dining experience, allowing you to layer flavors to your liking.
Ultimately, NAYA represents a modern evolution of Middle Eastern dining. It takes the rich, bold flavors of Lebanese cuisine and presents them in a way that is perfect for the fast-paced New York lifestyle. It offers a healthy alternative to traditional fast food, with a focus on providing vegetarian, vegan, and protein-rich options. The experience is both casual and elevated, making it a favorite among Midtown locals for both lunch and dinner. The commitment to fresh ingredients and a customizable menu ensures that every visit to NAYA is a delicious and personalized one.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1First time trying this Lebanese food chain and it exceeds my expectations!Location: It is located along Madison Avenue behind St. Patricks cathedral. There are few seatings inside.Service: it is a step by step process. Not that much interaction cause you just have to tell them which choices you want.Food: I got the Naya Bowl. And it was the best. It is a step by step process so here is what I got.STEP 1: you can choose naya roll, naya bowl or naya salad. I chose the bowl cause it has rice with vermicelli.STEP 2: choose 2 meats. I chose beef shawarma which is super tender and flavorful. The second meat was kafta lamb kebab, it was 2 pieces but it was delicious, very moist inside its like a small patty burger.STEP 3: choose toppings. I chose hummus, tahini, cabbage, tomatoes, onions, cucumber, feta cheese, chopped romaine.I got also pistachio baklava and their warm feta bread on the side. This is a must!Price rating: 7/10 price range. It was not bad, I paid $19 for naya bowl, baklava and bread.I will definitely come back here to try the other choices.
February 08 · Mark NowellThe worst falafel I've ever eaten. It was hard and I think it had bulgur instead of chickpeas. When I mentioned it, the attendant asked why I didn't like it and was reluctant to change it. Other than that, the place is nice
August 01 · neslihan sinimI recently visited Naya to pick up lunch for my team, and it was an amazing experience! Everyone loved what they ordered, and it’s no surprise given the quality and variety this place offers.I had the Naya Bowl with Kafta Lamb Kebab, and it was absolutely delicious. The base of vermicelli rice paired perfectly with the seasoned lamb kebabs, which were tender, flavorful, and spiced just right. I especially appreciated the unlimited fresh toppings—there are so many great options to customize your bowl exactly how you want it!I also grabbed a few sides, including the Little Tabboule and Labne with White Pita. The tabboule was fresh and vibrant, with the perfect balance of parsley, mint, bulgur, and a zesty lemon-olive oil dressing. The labne was creamy and rich, making it the perfect dip for the freshly baked, soft white pita. The service was another standout- they were friendly, attentive, and made the entire experience seamless and pleasant.Naya does an excellent job of staying true to its mission of providing authentic, fresh, and nutritious Middle Eastern meals. You can really taste the quality and care in every bite. Highly recommend this spot for a quick, satisfying, and healthy meal!Looking forward to my next visit. Thank you, Naya! 😊
November 17 · tamara balazsovitsNot being from the north east and how popular this joint is in NY, the only thing that I can relate to is Chipotle's but with Lebanese meats or options. It was filling and light. Good to hold you tidy as you are on the move.
September 20 · SurgeI screwed up my online order (forgot to hit the "submit" button, I guess). Got there and there was a huge line. Mery saw what happened and helped me out. Very thankful! Like the food, too! Online ordering (when I don't screw it up) is smooth and orders are filled promptly.
